Laserquest was formed in 1988 after many months of research by the directors into the space games market. Trials began at the Manchester site in 1989 with prototype equipment imported from New Zealand. With the Laser Tag concept proven new equipment was developed and produced in the UK and has been the subject of continual research and development ever since.

Laserquest is active in all aspects of the business: as an operator of wholly owned sites and through the manufacture, sale and licensing of equipment to independent operators.
