Theo Sarantoglou Lalis will be taking part in the next edition of 'ENGAGED' on 19th November at the Architectural Association School of Architecture. To be ‘Engaged’ is to be activated or involved. How can the performance of materials, space, bodies and structures activate how we inhabit and understand our surroundings? What role does architecture play in engaging society to behave differently?

Theo will be presenting LASSA' s Work at the POMPIDOU/KANAL in Brussels on 5th September. Presentations will be followed by a round table discussion on issues relating to the transformation of design practices in the digital era. Keynote lecture by Ross Lovegrove with presentations by Xavier Lust and Unfold (Dries Verbruggen et Claire Warnier) . The conversations will be moderated by Marie-Ange Brayer (Centre Pompidou) and Cedric Libert (CIVA). Free entry.

Our Pocket Nursery is on the cover of EK Architecture + Design. Pocket Nursery is a newly built wooden classroom situated in a garden in the Belgian countryside. The project aims to support learning through action and physical engagement with the architecture. The library is also the structure of the building. The project was digitally designed and fabricated in our studio and preassembled in less than a week. We were able to achieve a high level of sophistication and craft ...within an affordable budget. The project was produced in partnership with our friends from Why Architecture.
Villa Ypsilon is also featured in best of 2017. We're very proud its happening in Greece!
