A great cafe and farmyard fun! The cafe serves good lunches and cakes, the coffees are of good quality also. Plenty of seating inside and out, for sunny or rainy days.
The farm has animals for the children to see, including donkeys, goats and pigs.
There are around 10 toy ride on tractors for younger children to play on, as well as a play area with tunnel. A really nice, friendly place to come for lunch.
I highly recommend it.

A great farm shop. You can do proper grocery shopping here. They get produce from local farms and producers where possible. So most of the fruits, veg, eggs, dairy and meats come from Essex and Suffolk. And if you like apples it's THE place to go. They grow a large variety on their farm. They even have a little tasting table where you can sample the different apples.

Brilliant produce and a huge variety of high quality fresh and frozen meat. Good selection of fruit and vegetables. The staff are friendly/helpful and know where everything is. Amazing selection of interesting things. Have been shopping here for years and never disappointed.

You can easily spend 2hrs here. The toilet is very well maintained, the food is good, they have soya milk and the surroundings and animals are lovely. We love the fact they have two Donkey Sanctuary donkeys. Just a lovely gem.

Great food gift ideas. Local produce, their own apple juice is divine. Great place to take kids either fruit picking or to visit the animals

PYO are a rarity in the modern age - a relic from a simpler time. I feel like millenials will never have the opportunity to enjoy something as cathartic as picking your own fruit and eating it soon after. Lathcoats are staunchly bearing the flag for PYO, though, with some of the best fruit - in terms of mind-boggling variety and quality - I have ever eaten. Apples, strawberries, raspberries, currants, gooseberries, pears. The list is endless. There really is no better way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Add to this the quaint and wonderfully stocked Farm Shop on-site, and the cafe that serves a frankly stunning breakfast, and you've got one of the hidden gems of the Essex countryside...

I have been visiting here now for some years and there is plenty to see and do. You will find a nice cafe here servicing excellent food and drinks, a good farm shop and a little farm with goats, pigs and donkeys for the children. I would would recommend a visit here.

We shop here every week!
Good local products, but are a little expensive.
The main thing we shop for is the apples and strawberries that are grown on the farm and eggs locally sourced, the staff are friendly.

Coffee shop is really worth a visit! The only issue is the parking.
Since the coffee shop has opened for every day shopping you can not park and being disabled it's a nightmare.
If you are in the area it is worth a visit!
