Had a request for a couple of face masks today from a carer in the community. It was a quick asap job so used fabric I already had to make them.

Morning all! Week 2 of homeschooling for us here. I have 7 clients work to get on with this week. We may be in lockdown but this is work held over before the madness began. I'm not allowing anyone into my home but if people want things altered and can pin where they want them I am happy to do so.

3 days later and the NHS gowns are done ready to fight COVID 19.
20 sets of tie backs cut out before the roll run out, my next roll is being delivered this afternoon. 3 gowns totally complete so far today. Trying to do afew between homeschool activities. I will get these 20 done before the next roll arrives! 🤞🤞🤞
All hems machined up ready for tomorrows tie backs and neck binding to be added.
All sleeves are in and overlocking complete! Hems to do next but an hour with my children before I carry on is much needed.
Last night I overlooked all the sleeves and put on the cuffs. Today I've started putting the shoulder seams together and machining the sleeves to the main gowns. Still quite afew to go and then I will be going back to the other sewing machine for hems and binding necks and attaching tie backs.
That's 30 gowns cut up and 60 sleeves! 😴 11am-4pm! My hands are sore but sewing is on the cards for later.
Fabric has arrived for the NHS gowns and the first one being cut! Just another 29 to go 😂
