The Lima Bravo Group formed in 1998. The Group was founded by Marynka Wall, Marcus Wilson and Will Hardman. Since then LB Group has extended to number of flying members. Due to the lack of usage the LB Group is looking to expand further and add members. Most of the current members have heavy work schedules or their jobs take them abroad on frequent business trips.
Therefore, the aeroplane is not being used to its full potential. We would like to add other flying members to the group, but our intention is to keep availability high for all members.
G-AVLB is a PA28-140. The date of construction was 1967. It has a Lycoming 0-320 E2A engine and a Sensenich M74 DM-58 propeller. The aeroplane has been corrosion proofed from new and has done less than 3000 hours airframe time, less than 500 hours on the current engine. The engine was built by Flightpower Services, to the highest quality in May 1999. Avionics are King KX175B and VOR localiser.
Also, it has the benefit of a Garmin 250LX nav /com unit and four-place intercom.
It also has a state of the art Garmin GTX 327 digital transponder.
G-AVLB comes equipped with head-sets and four life-jackets.
