LBS Group is a well-established family business founded 40 years ago by Peter and Margaret Wolfenden in a poultry shed on the family farm. Over the years LBS has grown and developed into a significant local company employing over 200 people; serving 40, 000 customers, manufacturing and distributing mainly to the UK. Ten years ago Peter and Margaret retired and handed the business over to their two sons, Geoff and Ian, and their daughter Anne, to continue the family tradition.

The Group of Companies include Aquamatic Irrigation who can design, supply and install irrigation systems; NP Structures T /A Northern Polytunnels who design and manufacture Polytunnels, Canopies and Walkways; LBS Garden Centre which is our retail outlet based in Lancashire; and Porous Pipe who manufacture and distribute the reknowned Porous Pipe™ trickle irrigation system.


Over the next decade LBS intend to continue expanding and developing with the growing needs of the horticultural market as they have always done. Striving for quality and reliability to provide the best service to their customers.
