Wow, wow & wow again. We cannot wait to come back and dine with you. My husband and I had a wonderful Valentine’s Day (evening) meal with you and your lovely attentive staff and hats off to the chef! The food was divine alongside the 5 star service. Thank you so much, see you in March!

Went there for my wife’s birthday and wow, the outside looks amazing with great parking, walked in and was made to feel welcome right away, the food was fabulous, service out standing and can’t wait to come back, thank you guys for making our evening perfect

Went for the first time for our anniversary. Food was lovely and was priced as would expect for a restaurant of this standard . Staff were polite and attentive and on the whole we had a very nice evening. Will definitely be returning.

We had a great meal in Le Benaix this week. The staff are so attentive and very good.

The food was superb. I had Hake which was fan frayed perfectly and I would happily recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Sunday lunch to celebrate my sisters birthday. The staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived. The decor and surroundings are lovely and so was the food. Loads of amazing food to choose from and we definitely weren't disappointed. We had a lovely waiter, who was very attentive and he made our afternoon and my sisters birthday. Thank you so much Liam.

Outstanding as always! Only thing to bare in mind is the drinks come as doubles as standard which we didn’t realise and we were driving! We ended up having to sit and wait to make sure we were under the limit � drinks were amazing though! x

My wife took me out for a birthday meal. It was a busy Saturday night, but the bar staff and waiting staff remained attentive and polite. We had a little fun trying the varied cocktail list as well as the gin list ( of which I am a fan ). We opted for the 7 course tasting menu which was delicious! A perfect little journey of food which was very balanced and flowed delightfully. Dam that sorbet was amazing! I follow one of the chefs on Facebook ( the main reason we went to be honest ), and was really happy that he made time, despite it being so hectic, to pop out and say hello. He also added to our 7 courses with some extra special dishes, what a treat, brilliant. Must say Connor, those scallop pakoras are......the nuts!!! We would have been happy to eat a plate full of those with a few beers one afternoon. We ended the meal with a couple of tequila shots!. Thanks everyone for a great evening. We look forward to returning and following the growing career of the chefs! Good luck guys ��

I’ve eaten here several times, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The food, cocktails and gin menu are all absolutely fantastic. The service and atmosphere are excellent. One of my favourite places to eat. Wonderful.

I booked the Le Benaix for my husbands birthday meal and we were not disappointed. We were both delighted with the food, service and atmosphere. The food was definitely fine dining with lots to choose from and not a huge price tag either. The service was excellent too. Very helpful and happy to recommend or assist with any special requirements. The restaurant is very smart and beautifully furnished with a lovely bar area which made a winters evening feel very special. We will definitely be returning and happy to recommend this hidden gem to all :-) Well done to the Le Benaix team, keep up the good work!

I booked for the Savoury Afternoon Tea. I highly recommend this. The food was prepared and presented beautifully. The food itself was wonderful the tuna was perfect!

Service with a smile too, a very pleasant and helpful waiter. I will return.

Delicious meal in a great setting. Weather was lovely so we ate outside in the gardens. Staff were very helpful and attentive, nothing too much trouble , great night will be visiting again soon

Celebrated our wedding anniversary today and had the most enjoyable meal. Have visited before and have never been disappointed but today was the most enjoyable. X

Brilliant local restauarant - delicious food, friendly relaxed service and reasonably priced for the quality. The set lunch menu mid week is also remarkably good value. I’ve been a few times and have never been disappointed. Great for Sunday lunch as well.

Booked my wife’s 50th birthday celebration in the orangery yesterday and have to say it was perfect from the minute I made the enquiry to when we left after the meal. The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly & accommodating, the service was second to none. I could not recommend this venue highly enough. Thank you for a great day!

Amazing service, great place, couldn't have wished for anything better! We held a wedding blessing followed by afternoon tea in the Orangery this afternoon. Christmas songs, nicely decorated. Thank you for everything!

The place is finished to a high decorative standard with a garden and lots of glass, but it’s a surprise to find a restaurant with its own convenience store and hairdressers!

Very friendly greeting, one bar man and two waiting staff, a group of mainly “ladies who lunch” and a few tables of 2 and one of 3. The restaurant was about half full, a bit churlish to comment as it was Tuesday lunchtime.

Was given the a la Carte menu, there was an option of a fixed price menu but only suggested not offered.

Drinks were an odd experience, I ordered, as I normally do, a soda and lime, I was served with a class of ice with a stirrer a straw (I’m not 6 years old) a tiny mixer bottle of soda with a minuscule jug of lime cordial, all for the princely sum of £2.45, overpriced and I am sorry but just a bit too pretentious.

Starter was a crispy ham confit yolk with truffle and far too much oil. Main was a cannon of lamb with nice veg, one of the cuts of lamb was soft, beautifully cooked the other with crumb on the outside was a bit too dry for me.

Dessert was a lemon sherbet slice with a marginally too icy sorbet and trimmings.

A restaurant with pretentious to higher rating, but a bit of work to do to get there.

Was it worth the trip? Just about, ps toilets clean but up steep stairs.

Food was good, bar menu very limited & over priced, £11 for a sandwich & fries. Mussels were very small but the sauce was amazing. Pleasant staff, overall good experience but would not pop in a quick lunch as too expensive.
