With a quirky, intimate ambiance this restaurant offers excellent food and wonderful front of house service. I am a good cook myself so I find most places a bitter disappointment but this is one I will happily return to time and time again. Spot on it's a"10 out of 10" from me!

What a lovely place. Cosy atmosphere, warm welcome from friendly staff and excellent food. Being gluten free there were so many things I could have chosen or you were happy to adapt to accommodate me. Thank you Mark for tempting me with a gf pud, the apricot frangipane was sublime

What a fabulous restaurant- a hidden gem. We enjoyed a very relaxed unhurried family meal. The quality of ingredients used, the flavours created and the stylish presentation will leave you wondering why you haven’t ventured down the obscure stone stair case to Le Caveau before.

We will definitely be returning.

We went with friends on Saturday and I can not praise this place highly enough. Fabulous food and lovely, welcoming staff who put up with our slightly noisy banter with good humour. Highly recommended...looking forward to our next visit.

This is a michelin star restaurant right on your door step... if you are a foodie, you will apreciate the work & thought that has gone in to these dishes, food full of love! I cannot give this chef the worth he is entitled...amazing food & lovely staff. One not to be missed. x

The staff were friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. The food was lovely, good size portions and very tasty. I had the goat, melt in the mouth, dad had the smoked duck, just as good and my friend had the lamb, fantastic. Good service in a cosy setting. All round good evening out

Our first time in this amazing little gem last night (11/2/17) we were treated to the valentines menu and was not disappointed at all. The service from arriving to leaving was superb, the staff are so attentive and met all our request, hubby wanted extra garlic in his mains dish and he got just that, from the starters right through to desert everything was fresh, full of flavour and vibrant our tastebuds were treated to the delights of a sharing platter with plenty of stronger cheeses as selected by the chef who ensured all his diners had enjoyed their experience. Would highly recommend booking as we've tried several times on our weekends to Skipton and been unable to just turn up... So pleased I booked and completely understand why this place is so popular. Can't wait to return

Fantastic little gem tucked down below the Edinburgh Woolen Mill in Skipton. If you haven’t already been, get it on your bucket list. We love the food and friendly atmosphere in here.

Best restaurant in this neck of the woods by far! The staff are super friendly, the food is superb and the ambience is wonderful. I adore my food, we eat put a lot and yet this place surprises me every single time. And with an early bird menu, there is no reason not to treat yourself to it...give it a go!

As soon as we entered we were warmly greeted and asked to take a seat, our drinks order was taken and we were shown the menus. We were left sufficient time to study the menu choices before ordering. While we were deciding what to have, we were given some lovely little canapés.

The service was attentive but discreet the atmosphere relaxed. The food was well cooked and presented.

The whole evening was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend visiting.
