We've been wanting to visit here for a while. We called up to book an hour or so before as we had a taste card. Table was great , service was outstanding. I'm always apprehensive as a veggie especially when I see risotto on the menu , but it was the best risotto I've ever tasted. Thank you for a great experience.
We have been many times for both lunch and dinner, it's always consistently good , we even had our wedding reception there last May, we should always try support our independent restaurants and bars they help to give Harrogate its character instead of the big chain eateries that just churn out mass produced bland food at rip off prices .
We had a great meal here. We arrived just as a large party was leaving and the staff prepared our table and we had time to have a relaxing drink before hand. Orders were taken at the bar as our table wasn't quite prepped but there was no delay in getting the superb food.
Recommended is the French onion soup. Also steak frites and the crepes. The house white wine was amazing. Dry, crisp, fresh.
In all, the experience was one I will repeat as soon as an occasion demands. Prices were fair and the food and service were excellent.
Highly recommended. Go there and try it out.
The best restaurant in Harrogate by far. We've been going since it opened and never had a bad meal. David and Dominic make a great team.

Had a wonderful birthday meal here. Was made to feel very welcome. The food and service were spot on. The best steak I've ever had and we will all definitely be going back.

3 (pre-theatre early bird) courses for 2, a bottle of house red for £45. Excellent value. The fud? Lovely. Service efficient and professional. Recommended by a Harrogate resident friend. As someone else reported.... support local family run business! I try... defo would sorry.. will return.
