Our group of 17 came for a celebratory meal here for the New Year. The food and wine were great, and the chef and staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

User

Lovely lunch here! Had salmon and lamb with rice and it was wonderful

User

Incredible food. The salad with Eggs Benedict on a baguette with bacon was so gooood. Friendly and helpful staff to

Been here a few times for lunch. The food is delicious and good value. Friendly counter service. They have a downstairs sitting area which isn't crowded, is basic but suitable for business lunch. Just 2 minutes walk from Cambridge railway station makes it a great place to meet people who come in by train!

User

Amazing food and service!! We have been coming for years and it just gets better!

We have eaten at Le Gros Franck each time we have visited Cambridge. Unfortunately, we won't be visiting again. The food is lovely, but the service was very poor today. We ordered coffee with separate milk, but the coffee was cold. We ordered 4 meals, all came a different times. It took 45 mins, and 2 requests, for 2 crepes with Nutella which were presented very poorly with squirty cream! I think for what we paid was very poor overall. It is a shame, as we have had excellent service in the past. A few tips... make sure you serve all meals at the same time, and don't serve other people that came in after the earlier customers with hot food when people are waiting. Hope the service improves for others.
