About Le Pain Quotidien Uk
We’re a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means “the daily bread” in French, and like our name suggests, we’re bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts.
At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That’s why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you’ll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.

Had a lovely meal. The food was great the staff very helpful and smiley. Will visit again next time I'm in the area.
Great place for breakfast! Great food and service even when very busy!
Great place for a laid back brunch, lunch or early evening meal. Great food, great menu, great service
Great format. Good service and excellent range of healthy and well prepared food. Only negative was - why put ice and a straw in a breakfast freshly squeezed orange juice???
Great food. I've been here twice in the last month and both times the food has been excellent with the service friendly and quick.
Bit of a tight squeeze for us chubsters but the food is to die for, staff are extra friendly and helpful, prices are not actually that bad for London. Loved it. Try the baker's breakfast, and make sure you're properly hungry because the portions are well big!
Amazing, how you people manage to seat so many persons (with their luggage) in a relatively small area. And no matter how busy it is I never feel rushed into ordering, eating, paying and leaving. And the food is fabulous. And a really, really decent bowl of coffee.
Kudos.
Absolutely fabulous great service fantastic food elegant comes to mind
Thought the staff were super friendly and attentive and there were loads of vegan options on the menu. The chia seed pudding it to die for!
My place to go when i've got time to spare before a train. The food is good quality, the service usually efficient and quick and they can cater for allergy diets. I was a little concerned when I asked for the allergy matrix this week for a new dish and the waitress simply didnt know how it worked... she was convinced I couldnt eat something because it said yes under the sesame box (I have coeliac disease and allergic to eggs and dairy).. I tried to explain how it worked but she simply couldnt understand. A bit worrying in these days of catering for allergies.. It wont put me off going however, Ive been going there for too long and luckily I know how to read the matrix..
My "go to " for breakfast every time I am near St Pancras station, 2 slices of the walnut bread toast with a huge choice of spreads sets me up for the morning.
Great for breakfast before the Eurostar
Good food and location, cheaper places at the opposite end of the station than this St. Pancras international end but normally go here because it's always been good.
Was a little bit désappointed with the elderfloWer drink as it was really small and consisted in syrup at the bottom of the glass 🙄
The food was very tasty but the waitress spilled half of my soup and never apologise or cleaned up the mess. I had to ask another waitress for tissues and cleaned up the mess myself. Service can seriously be improved!
Baked eggs wouldn't come out of the stupid little pans, very messy.
Fresh presse came out of a bottle
Coffee served in a bowl, good thing it wasnt hot then.
Overpriced eatery concerned with how it presents its food but not the quality.
Baked eggs overdone, service far too slow. Tempted to ask for the service charge to be removed but decided against it this time. In this experience-chasing world of ours this was not a good one!
Unfortunately my first visit and won't be returning. My coffee came ages before my food.. and when asked was told it was coming.. another couple wished me luck as they advised they had problems with their food too. When scone came it was like a brick heavy and doughy.. went to pay and was charged for a croissant which I didn't have mm took ages to sort out.. will not be returning
Ordered a chicken brioche before boarding my train to Paris nord took 48 mins to arrive after I piped up after waiting around 35 mins whilst the rest of the bakery was being served ...got a 10 * discount and cold burger I'm eating after customs searches on euro star now ... Appalling
Order on takeaway made via the app. Arrived to collect it and I have been told that the order didnt arrive due to wifi issue. I have also been told that I won't be charged as they need to enter the order code in the till. So I walked away as I was late for my train.... surprise. I have been charged. Brilliant. I have just lost 12 quids... unacceptable.
