New week, new #designinspo theme. This week we're looking at SIGNAGE. If you're a self confession font fan too, then you're going to love this one. Signage/branding/messaging doesn't always have to be dull and corporate, we love how Liam Gilliam and Louise Lawler depicted and projected their messaging in their exhibition at the Kaplan Gallery. Imagine breaking the norm and making your brand stand out in new ways at your next event...

Statement walls aren't only impactful indoors, they can completely transform outdoor outdoors too. We love what @illstudio , @pigalleparis_official & @nikelab created for the launch of the Pigalle and Nike Labs clothing collaboration. It shows again how good design can transform something you might not have even noticed before, into an experience 🏀

Autumn is here and with the change of season means a change of colour 🍂🍁 • Colour changes aren't just limited to the trees though, we naturally find ourselves opting for more earthy shades at this time of the year and with that shift we're also craving heavier textures and more comfort, especially as the nights draw in and the colder temperatures advance. With that in mind this week we're talking about our current obsession with velvet • Texture can add to an experience just... as much as colour or light, we love thinking and experimenting with all five senses when we're in the design phase • @matthewwilliamson has us swooning with this set up of dark blue walls, jade velvet patterned seating, dark wooden floor and a feather tree. Today's #designinspo from Amir Zinaburg takes things one step further (no pun intended) by making the frame of the stair case into a design statement as well as making it practical 👏🏻

Hands up who's been to Grand Central Station in New York? 🙋🏼 . . When the light streams in through the windows on to the hall below it's breath taking. It's an experience that can make time feel as though it's almost stopped, even though it's simply daylight flooding a room, once again proving good design doesn't have to be complicated to be powerful. 🌞If you haven't been, add it to the bucket list asap. .... .
