Leaf On Bold Street

We recently had our wedding reception at Leaf, in the upstairs room and it was such a fantastic evening. All of our guests loved the food, drink and thought the staff were very friendly and efficient. Thank you to Fiona, Tom and Tom for making it such a special, and unforgettable day.

Never ate in a place like this before. Food is always outstanding and staff are so kind and funny. Atmosphere is amazing, just always a happy vibe. Would live there happily😁

I do always like it here, you can either get lost in a book with a cup of tea or meet up with your friends and have a bite to eat. It’s always fresh, it’s always tasty but it can be hard to get sat down.
There choice of loose leaf tea is amazing, I’m still working my way through the menu.
They do vegan food really well but I do wish they had more vegan desserts.

Service left a lot to be desired. Pretty much had all the food brought and eaten before any drinks arrived, iced teas were lukewarm and as a customer with an allergy I had to sign a disclaimer before they would cook for me.. I'm not sure that's strictly allowed really.
I appreciate they were "busy" but there were two guys who were just chatting at the end of the bar, and when two drinks were just forgotten no apology, as if it was our fault!

Food was actually quite good, vegan breakfast was tasty and the avocado was great, but by all accounts the full English breakfast were a bit bland and not hot, just warm.

For such a big place j think they need more staff, and perhaps a refresher on how food and drink service should work!

AMAZING food! A little more expensive but certainly worth it, as it comes through in the quality of the food. The service was great. They offer meat, vegetarian, and vegan opinions. This place would be great for large groups eating out. Would highly recommend.

There are precious few places that combine a fresh, high quality modern cafe experience with good evening dining. Leaf nails it. The best poached eggs you will see for a long while. They have tea cocktails (the tea in a generous variety) and an imaginative menu (try the cinnamon toast). Also a damn fine cup of coffee. They open from 9am on a weekend, despite it saying 10 on the door.

Excellent for a few drinks at any time of day. Great tea and coffee too. Had breakfast there once and that was also lovely.

Great place! Came here for brunch on our last day in Liverpool. Had a full English breakfast and it was amazing! Had one of the best cups of tea. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed. Would definitely return!
