Happy 90th birthday Leamington 🎉

Everyone has had an great time this week sharing books and enjoying workshops with fantastic visitors. Don't forget Friday 5th July the children are invited to dress up as their favourite fictional character. We look forward to seeing all their different costumes.

What an amazing day today was being with our new classes for September! Children in year 3 (current year 2s) has incredible workshops with The Storybarn. Children not only listened to wonderful stories, they also created some! Well done 👏🏼

Rebecca Fan-Blinston shared her Liverpool based story with the children. During their workshops the children loved following the tale of a determined dockhound.

Today Gav Cross has been mesmerising the children with alternative traditional tales inside his inflatable story cave as part of reading week.

You need to be in it to win it!! This raffle is helping support our Leamington Productions to help with costumes, props etc. It will also be used to help with our gardening club to make our school look lovely and green. In September we will be looking for children from year 3 to 6 to join our gardening club 🌱🌱

Attention for parents/carers of our nursery children.

Next week is reading week. Throughout the week we are inviting the children to bring their favourite books to share with their class. On Monday we have Rebecca Fan-Blinston an author and Gav Cross a storyteller in school who will be doing sessions throughout the day with each year group. Gav Cross will also be offering a family story session after school in the junior hall from 3.10 until 3.30. No need to book please come along and enjoy.

Year 5 had a fantastic afternoon learning how to play quidditch as we find out more about life at Hogwarts ✨⚡💫

A Big thank you to all the Parents and Teachers who helped make the disco a success tonight. The children should be about ready for bed now, Mrs Hartwell is.

Year 5 really enjoyed making their healthy pizzas this morning and eating them out in the sunshine 🍕☀

YAY! Finally, at the Garden Club, one of our mushrooms packs are sprouting. Fingers crossed the other one will soon. 🍄

On Tuesday some children from year 1 took part in a multi sports festival at Calderstones Park with some other schools. They all had lots of fun and were fantastic ambassadors for our school! 😊

Year 5 attended their first day of Hogwarts were they were placed into their houses. There were a few disgruntled faces and now the children want to write to Dumbledore to persuade him to come up with a new way of sorting the houses 💫

Year 5 enjoyed a trip down Diagon Alley with Hagrid where they went shopping for their first day at Hogwarts. They are thoroughly enjoyed their new book 💫⚡
