Very lovely and professional teachers, that create friendly atmosphere on the classes so even if you are new in Tango, you feel like part of the community. They will make you fall in love with Tango (and you can not stop it). Moreover, academy provides bunch of the activities to improve you dancing skills or to keep you entertained so it's always fun! And that's the main reason of dancing right?! I would highly recommend it to anyone, not considering if you starting with Tango or you are on higher level.

This is probably the best Argentine tango school in London. Leandro and Maria are very talented and passionate tango teachers. What I like the most about their classes is the very high quality of their teaching. All the steps are very clearly explained in detail so that by the end of the class you know exactly how to perform them. Leandro and Maria are also very nice, warm and friendly. All in all, a really great tango experience.

My husband and I got married on July. We wanted to dance a Tango for the "wedding dance" so we decided to join Leandro Palou Tango Academy. It was the best choice we could have made. Both, Leandro and Maria are fabulous teachers, super professional, warm, inspiring...Their school is magical: the people, the music, the atmosphere...it was just perfect!!!! We started without any knowledge, but it was super easy to follow the classes where they emphasizes in technique, tango steps, embrace so that we both felt very confident.



I do not have words to describe how amazing the wedding dance preparation was. They help us a lot through the process, from the choreography, to the music, dressing... They are very very flexible and always wanted to ensure that we both were comfortable with the dance. It just looked spectacular!!!! We felt really good before the dance because we have rehearsed with them several times and they gave us feedback to improve details so that it looked even better.

Leandro is an incredibly generous teacher as well as patient, I still remember in my first class "vos hazme todos los pasos al mismo tamaño y a la misma velocidad" :) I have nothing but fond memorios of his lessons and of all the other great dancers. Leandro and Maria deliver high-quality classes. They concentrate on more than just steps and sequences - a real focus on conveying the feeling and understanding of the dance and music. It is clear from the way that they teach and the reflection of this in their students, that they are very experienced, professional and discerning as teachers as well as dancers. I would not hesitate to recommend the Tango Academy to anyone wishing to educate themselves about Tango.

Leandro and Maria create magic when they dance together and this genuine love for what they do is so contagious that you cannot not fall in love with the dance :) classes are taught in a way that is easy to follow and not intimidating even if you have never danced before in your life. Apart from the dance itself you learn about the culture surrounding the dance, etiquette at milongas, etc. – this more holistic approach makes quite a difference.

Leandro Palou Tango Academy is the best place to learn tango in all of London. When I moved to London four years ago I tried to find teachers who could help me take my tango to the next level. I went to several studios and met many teachers of different levels. It was an interesting experience but I wasn't fully satisfied until I was introduced to Leandro and Maria. From the very first class with them I knew I had found my tango school. Leandro & Maria are both amazing dancers and great teachers - a rare combination that you can't find in other dancing studios. With them, I am constantly learning new steps and combinations of steps. I am always improving my technique as a follower and have great opportunities to be taught by world renowned tango teachers and dancers. I've attended classes of different levels and all teachers of the Academy offer amazing classes of high quality. They are inspiring, passionate and pay attention to the detail. Not only they are highly effective when teaching steps and technique but at the same time, they encourage you to create your own dancing style and become an autonomous dancer. The classes are always full and again Leandro & Maria manage to pay full attention to every single dancer, helping in any way they can. Amazing school for whoever wants to either begin learning tango or refine their technique and learn new steps.
