Dear Patients, Carers Week 2015, Monday 12th - Sunday 18th June. This is an opportunity for us to recognise the valuable work this Country's 6.5 million unpaid Carers do and to appreciate the £132 billion they save our economy each year, an average of £19,336 per carer. They theme this year is 'building carer friendly communities'.
Many Carers are classed as 'hidden' in in other words not in receipt of information, advice or support. WIRED, in partnership with the ACE Group p...rovide a wide range of information, support and direct services for Carers in Wirral. As part of this role we are pulling together a calender of Carers Week Events, which we will be hosting on our website www.wired.me.uk
We are asking organisations or groups holding Carers week activities to forward the details to WIRED by email CWS@wired.me.uk or calling 0151 670 0777. Wired will then add the event to the Carers week calendar and also to Carers week promotional campaigns.
