Sign up for free, download and install the Zoom client for meetings, and then send me the email address that you signed up with. I can then add you as a contact, connect with you through video calls, and send you music files etc to print off before & after lessons.

Amazing to hear that Addy had a great first online lesson with me yesterday! Can't believe how well these online lessons are going! ūüé•ūüĖ•ūüéłūüé∂ūüĎĆ

So after the news that the UK was going into lockdown last Monday I decided to pack up my stuff at the studio and head home to set up camp in the dining room.
It seems I'm fortunate enough to be able to continue teaching from home via online conferencing and is so far working out great!
I'd just like to say a huge thanks to everyone that's continuing to take tuition in these testing times, I will be forever grateful of your support. There are many other businesses not so for...tunate to be able to carry on operating, and we can only hope that the government pull through for the self employed and deliver what they are promising!
If anyone fancies a lesson or two whilst they're stuck at home with nothing to do...give me a shout! As long as you have a reasonably tuned guitar, bass or ukulele and access to a computer with a webcam we're good to go!
If anybody wants to chat, talk about gear or share ideas....also get in touch! :D

Wednesday is daddy day care.. and there's always time for a lesson. First time Arthur has played a chord successfully and held it throughout! Must work on that downstrum though. ūüėā

In 2014 Amy and I recorded some Christmas songs...and with my amazing video editing skills I will be bringing them to you with slideshows on YouTube over the next few weeks.
The songs and the recordings are essentially unheard as we only ever did one Christmas gig!
First up is 'Rockin Robin' originally recorded by Bobby Day in 1957 (I did not know that until last night), and covered by the Jackson 5 in 1972. Although not strictly a Chrismas song, it's about a Robin... which are totally christmassy, right?

*** ROAD CLOSURE***
Be aware of the road closure this week on Loscoe Road just after the junction with Loscoe Denby Lane!! It's only a short stretch that's closed, but the diversion is a bit crazy!
Traffic is being diverted up Loscoe Denby Lane and all the way around through Smalley. You can get through Flamstead Avenue which will save loads of time, but could be busy at peak times!!

Here's Zak looking proud of his new purchase at the weekend from The Music Inn, Nottingham! This lad sets a fine example of 'If you want it bad enough.... '. He's worked and saved all summer to buy himself this semi-hollow body guitar by Vintage, and it's a real beauty! ūüėć
He's just one of many kids I am proud to be teaching at the moment who just love the guitar, and are so inspired to learn, play and talk guitars everytime I see them!
I don't know who looks forward to his... lessons the most me or him? ūü§∑‚Äć‚ôāÔłŹ ūüėĀ

What do you reckon to this little dude then? This is 6yr old Maximus, he's been having lessons for a few months and yesterday made his debut performance at his uncle Guy's wedding!
Max was adamant that he wanted to play a song at the wedding, so we created a little backing track for him to play along to and I must say he absolutely nailed it!! ūüéłūüĎĆ
The song is 'Girl Like You' by Maroon 5!
