This project captures the story of first, second and third generation Bangladeshi people living in Birmingham and their relationship to the food culture of the UK.

To bring communities closer together by developing a shared understanding of the role different groups and individuals have had in shaping today’s society. To explore, record, preserve and share the collective heritage of groups and individuals. To assist in shaping young peoples identity by showcasing contributions made by the new communities that have helped to shape UK life. To record food journey’s that have contributed to the modern British diet. To articulate the international nature of film and photography.
