We visited yesterday and my 6 year old had an amazing time. I was expecting it to be very busy due to school holidays but it wasn’t as bad as I imagined. Queue times were not long at all and we went on everything. We only had a spare 3 hours but wish we’d had longer. I think it’s great that you are given time slots to prevent over crowding. We will definitely visit again.

User

We took our 3 and 5 year old yesterday and they really enjoyed it. Lots of areas to build, nice sized climbing/play gym area, ball pool and the kids loved the rides.

We didn’t try the cinema which was a shame but we knew our son wouldn’t watch the whole film, he just wanted to build and race Lego cars down the huge ramps!

Lots of seating area for food and a little costa coffee in there too which is nice.

We were given 3.5 hours in the centre which was plenty enough time and got a discount on the entry price with a voucher (and free Lego minifigures!) so overall great value for money and the kids had an amazing time.

User

We have the Merlin passes and only live 20 mins away so we come approx once a week with the kids (usually on a sat but some weeks I just take the youngest who has just turned 4 after nursery before picking the older 2 up from school) my kids love it 4,6 and 8. The 6 year old loves the police car ride and we can't wait til the youngest grows a little more and can go on it. The youngest loves Merlin apprentice and my eldest loves the football and horse racing interactive models. We always go and watch the 4d movie. The staff are absolutely amazing..... Whether they are helping build a super cool Lego car or talking to my youngest about paw patrol. The staff really so make the experience.

User

We had a fab time here yesterday. There was a lot more to do than we expected - the kids loved the rides as well as building Lego and learning about how it's made. The staff were so helpful too - offering to chaperone one of my kids on the merlin ride. We will definitely be back again in the future. Would highly recommend!

User

Visited with my 5 year old who said she didn’t have a good day she had an “awesome” day! Money off if you book online, staff very friendly and good with the children. Waiting time for rides was not too bad either given it is half term. Plenty to do and good variety. Can’t understand the reviews stating not much to do for younger children as it clearly states for 3-10 year olds hence under 3s go free.

Definitely somewhere I would return to.

User

Thank you for such a fantastic day, 2 boys aged 3 and 8 have loved every second! From collecting stamps, swapping badges with staff and of course making Lego creations all day, they couldn't take it all in fast enough. A very relaxed mummy and daddy who have been able to enjoy watching both their children have so much fun has been has been out highlight as the oldest is autistic. ..he didn't ask for his ear defenders once and talked to people he didn't know! Which for us means far more than you can imagine....thank you again from the Hardcastle's!

User

It’s a brilliant place! My 4 year old loved it all - we will definitely be coming again! So much to do and play with. It was quiet as was a weekday, which probably helped. The staff were lovely and friendly, not only to me, but to my son too. When he got “a bit scared” in the playgym and was shouting me, they were on hand to look after my baby whilst I got him out. Thank you for a great afternoon

User

I went to Legoland with my children on Friday, both my kids wanted to go on a ride and needed an adult to accompany but being on my own I could only go with one at a time. My son couldn’t be left on his own being so the staff was really helpful and offered a chaperone to sit in with my daughter. No tears and both kids were happy. Since last time I visited they have changed quiet a few things and made it much nicer.

User

Excellent day out, spent 4-5 hours here, loads of little activities to do, lots to see and do for adults and kids! The rides are great and we only waited around 20 mins per ride, staff are helpful and friendly and make the day what it is. Good value for money as a full family day out cost around £60 including activity packs for the kids to complete on the way around.

Easy to park and accessible throughout. Plenty to keep everyone entertained!

All round excellent day and will be going again! Kids loved it!

User

We brought our two little boys here (22nd July 2018). They thoroughly enjoyed themselves, as did the adults too. The only let down was the cafe, it was okay for quick bites, but that's it. Otherwise it was a great day out.

User

Visited today with my 4 year old son. So glad we had the parent and toddler offer for £8 as I have priced it up before and it would be like £70 with his sisters! And it would defo not have been worth that price. It’s quite small but it was very relaxed and no queues at all and we was even allowed back in after a bit of shopping. My son loved the shooting games, the cars and the cinema was entertaining even for mum.

User

Just had my littles boys 4th birthday party here at the weekend. He absolutely loved it, definitely worth the money we paid for all the kids and adults!! Great age to go because they can go on the rides and enjoy the activities. They only down fall was the birthday room, although it was nice and chilled while the children are eating, the lego ninjago theme was nonexistent. All the staff were lovely and friendly but didnt contribute to the party whist in the party room other than handing out the food and drinks. The activities were also poor in the party room I thought it would be more like a party. The kids had a great time tho, just from a parent point of view maybe a little music or pass the parcel would be nice. One of the ladies also got my little boy a birthday bag which was very kind, you could go the extra mile and give the birthday child a little lego token gift make it more personal. Was a good day had by all.

We will defiantly be going again! 😊

User

I do like it here, we go a lot as merlin.pass holders.my lad loves building cars for for the ramps, goin cinema n play centre n space bit.dont understand why this has below good reviews its quite enjoyable, staff r ok sum a bit geeky, my lad went missing but was in.cinema n 2 of em found out he was in there wivin.2 mins of reporting him gone so good with that.movies are ok, thers a new one but need some more new ones, food ok bit expensive but same old with attractions.not sure bowt the space bit its a good idea but not enough interaction I liked the city it replaced more, needs sumat else in that part

User

Came here on the 3/7/18 for the 1st time & we had a great day my wee one loved it even managed to get a Lego lunch box too even happier to get her name on it.. good wee day out

User

It's a good place to let your kids run wild with some limited lego blocks!!!

Even with bogof tickets it's over priced for the experience and inside it's fairly disorganised with staff mostly preoccupied with sweeping up lego from the floor (don't even try to imagine how they clean it up before the milliseconds it takes to go from dust pan to lego play box ready for the next set of kids fingers to touch the SO clean pieces!!!!! And yes not a sign of any hand gel anywhere in site).

By far the best part is the 4D cinema but queues can be long.

Age range... 4/5 up to 10/11 year olds is probably your limit in terms of keeping them occupied for about an hour maybe 90min at most.

Simply put... there's not much discovering of Lego that happens here.

User

I thought it would have been a lot better to be honest but it’s not about the adults it’s about the kids. Food menu needs to improve as adults do eat there too. Little things like carrier bags which u have to pay for are plain the Lego bags u have to pay £2.50 to £10.00 crazy prices, smyths toy store is cheaper to by Lego from u would expect them to be cheaper at Lego land. Overall an ok experience for the adults so I have given it a 3 star but my daughter says it was 5 stars

User

We took our 4 year old yesterday and even with an offer on for free entry for him with him being in a hallowe’en costume it still cost us over £40 for me and his Dad and a lanyard for him. I was disappointed in how little there was to do in there for that price. I don’t think we’ll be visiting again. Even the gift shop was more expensive than other toy shops and of course you exit there once you’ve finished so what child isn’t going to want something!

User

We lasted 45 mins. Very boring. We have a 1.5yr old and she was bored after 45mins... wouldnt recommend. Certain height for many things, no prams, very bad if children are disabled too. Our daughter isnt disabled and was bored. Husband loves lego and he was ready to leave. Most stuff isnt lego.. how fast can u tap spots on a machine, laser guns, rides, 4d cinema, and very small area for under 1s... very bad!

User

Total rip off in my opinion. My daughter is 15 months old.... very little for a child to do of that age. We got an adult 2 for 1 ticket from kelloggs cereal packet and even that was £19 ! My daughter went free as she is under 3. We queued for the merlin ride.... only to find out at the end of the queue that my daughter was too small..... what a waste of about 15 to 20 mins of just standing there.... wouldnt it be better to have the height restriction somewhere at the start of the queue to avoid dissapointment.....all the other sign said was...a child must be able to sit up right unaided. All there really was to do for her was the duplo farm which was mainly packed with older naughty children blocking the slide so my daughter could bearly have a go on that either.... this should surely be monitored by a member of staff to direct older children to more appropriate activities for thier age range. Total let down for alot of money! Could have just gone to a play centre for £3- £4 and got so much more out of it. You dont get alot for your money and there is alot of queuing involved at every stage
