We are based in South Oxfordshire, offering quality goalkeeper coaching to boys and girls from U7’s - U18’s.

Leigh Bedwell Goalkeeping Academy

At the Academy we aim to help develop and guide young local goalkeepers to be the best they can be through fun and exciting training sessions.

Leigh is an Ex Professional footballer, his previous clubs include Swindon Town, Worcester City and Banbury United. He currently plays for Didcot Town.

Leigh was 8 years old when he signed for Swindon Town, where he played in the Academy he spent 9 years in the academy before being signed on as an apprentice, after a two year apprenticeship Leigh was offered a professional contract, at the tender age of 18 years old he was given his Professional debut when then manager Paolo Di Canio brought him off the bench after just 20 minutes. Leigh went on to then sign another years pro contract.

After playing professionally Leigh went in to full time coaching and teaching in primary schools in the Oxfordshire area.
