The 'Change That Lasts "Ask Me"' projects are creating teams of Community Ambassadors to raise awareness of domestic abuse and create safe environments so that survivors feel able to speak out.
They will play a key role in signposting to services that specialise in domestic abuse – the refuges, helplines and outreach services. A Community Ambassador can be anyone who engages with people in their local area – it doesn’t have to be through work!

Good morning to all of our lovely followers. We will be closed on Monday, this includes our free Coffee Afternoon which will resume again the following Monday. The Centre will be open again as usual on Tuesday 28th! Have a brilliant and safe weekend ❤️

Today the Community Centre not only played host to the Community First work force staff meeting, but the Positive Pathway volunteers also catered for the event!
These volunteers are part of a new and exciting venture happening at the Centre soon! And they did an amazing and yummy job! Thank you all. We're excited to see how you grow and develop #HeartofthePark 💚

We are excited to be introducing George Beeton Personal Trainer to Leigh Park Community Centre. George does group classes Monday-Saturday and 1-2-1 sessions. You can find out more about the classes via his Facebook and Instagram pages. His ‘old-school’ technique means there are no machines and you get results by using your own body weight and good old manual workouts! For any questions or enquiries, message George on Facebook where you can also find his personal contact details.
