Building confidence, unlocking creativity: Beginner’s Drawing Class.
Keen to explore your creative side? Want to learn new techniques and grow your confidence? Our new four-session class is ideal for absolute beginners. With the help of two art specialists you will be introduced to a simple set of principles that will develop your confidence and your drawing knowledge. Learn new skills across four sessions, including: How to look... How to handle drawing materials How to select subject matter How to develop your own style of mark making Anyone can enjoy drawing and become a confident artist. No one is born with unique drawing skills. You can learn tried-and-trusted techniques to unlock talents you never knew you had.
What do you need to bring? We recommend that you bring an A3 sketchbook for all four sessions - but that’s it. We will provide most of the drawing materials along with homemade cake tea and coffee.
Dates: 25th April, 2nd May, 16th May, 23rd May.
Time: 19:00-21:00

A fun introduction to printmaking for children and adults. Come and create your own Easter designs on an easy-to-use polystyrene tile. Print your unique designs with water based inks on cards, paper and fabric. Location: The club room, St Andrews church Chippenham. Price: £12 one adult one child, £16 one adult 2 children. £10 child only (drop off session for ages 6-11 years old) All materials are included along with homemade cake tea and coffee. Limited places. A little bundle of joy has been keeping me busy over the past two months and although I love all the baby cuddling I have missed my art workshops! I will soon be announcing some exciting workshops in collaboration with local artist Charlotte Price. 🎨✏️ keep an eye on the page for updates.

A lovely group of children this morning, who came up with some creative and imaginative 3D designs. It was a pleasure to see them work so enthusiastically. This was a clay workshop at Murden House in Calne as part of the Calne Music and Arts Festival. Thank you for the lovely photos Carole.

Halloween crafts. An Autumn workshop for aspiring young artists. 29th October 10:00 am – 12:30 pm. @The Cause Chippenham. Price: £13 Give your child a new experience this autumn in a fun and creative environment. We provide all equipment along with homemade cake and children will be able to take their artwork home. ... Please note: this is a drop off session for children age 6-10 years. You are welcome to stay and watch (we have tea & coffee making facilities). If your child is younger than 6 years old, you can stay and take part in the session with them, at a discounted rate of £18 for adult and child (under 6). My son (aged 7) attended a clay workshop this morning ~ he loved every minute of it! He said that the teacher showed them lots of techniques and was really helpful. He can't wait to go to another workshop.

Lemoni arts and crafts organised a clay art party for my daughter's 10th birthday at home. We had 10 very excited kids who created their own animal-inspired bowls. Konstantina's experience as an art teacher meant that she managed to keep the kids engaged for a full hour. We also took part trying to make our own creations and loved every minute. Kids were also given custom printed paper party bags. Konstantina brought all the materials ( high quality potter's clay). She arrived half an hour before to set up and made sure that she tidied up afterwards. I would recommend the party to anyone including younger, older children or even adults.
