Reviewed by Ammama6 17 Jun 2018 Excellence as always... We have lost count of the number of times we have stayed at The Lennox Lea in Sale. On this recent visit we took a family member visiting from abroad. Needless to say, like us, he too was impressed by the service, comfort and welcome we got.
Mike and Joanna are the perfect hosts and the improvements they have made, make stays with them an enjoyable experience. Each room is well fitted with modern kitchen, clean bathroom and really comfortable beds.
They are both to be commended for the bold decision they have made not to serve the magnificent cooked breakfasts they were so famous for, delicious but so highly calorific! Ingredients for full breakfasts are available for those who are happy to cook these in the well equiped kitchenette, but the breakfast tray brimming with cereals, yogurts, croissants and muffins are definitely an healthier option. An option certainly favoured by visitors who are short on time, with deadlines to meet! With the nationwide emphasis on healthy living, the Lennox Lea is moving in the right direction.

We used the chauffeur service for our wedding and were not disappointed. We were picked up in a wonderful classic Bentley and driven to and from the venue. The chauffeur played the part too and looked immaculate. Would recommend the service.

We searched online for a nice hotel to treat our daughter after leaving primary school. The pictures were lovely, but arriving at the Lennox Lea was even better. It looked beautiful from outside, they were very welcoming, our room was stunning and immaculate, it had everything you could need. Lots of choice for breakfast, we would love to have dinner next time we stay. We've stayed at 5* hotels and none of them have anything on this place.

We have stayed at the hotel so many times, we feel like part of the family. A beautiful building with excellent rooms and wonderful staff. There is always a warm welcome from Mike and Joanna and the most fabulous breakfast!

This is our favorite place to stay when we visit Manchester. We always get a warm welcome and know we will have a wonderful stay with the great comforts we like when we are traveling. Extra nice touches like mini kitchens have been added so we can have enjoy food and drinks throughout the day..always a good idea! Keep up the good work Mike, Joanna and team!

Stayed over last night! Had the large family apartment on the bottom floor and it was amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone and will be coming back.

I’ve been staying at the Lennox Lea in Sale, south Manchester, for over 2 months now and it’s become my second home! Joanna, Mike and the excellent staff are superb hosts and gave me a very warm welcome when I arrived back in February. My room on the top floor is ideal: very quiet, light, clean and extremely comfortable. The breakfast menu offers a wide variety of fare and is simply delicious. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world and would certainly recommend the Lennox Lea as one of the best - and great value! Many thanks.

I worked here years ago (as did my mum) and it had a fabulous reputation then and still does now! Mike and Joanna are just wonderful too :@)

I stayed at Lennox Lea hotel for one night, the rooms are spacious and clean, the owners and staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble and is perfectly situated in a quiet location with good access within walking distance for resturants.

I was fortunate that Mike and Joanna support my charity event and would Definately stay again, a great experience.

Hi, we stayed here, sadly for only one night while we attended a gig at the arena. The sat navigation found it straight away. First impression was a lovely, well kept huge house. Lots of parking and immaculate grounds, lovely touch of pumpkins on the steps to main entrance. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful giving us directions on how to get to arena.



We were in room 15, an executive studio. It was absolutely spotless, great size with bay window and small, but perfectly adequate kitchen area. Bathroom was immaculate with good shower, plenty hot water and towels. Very comfortable bed with spotless linen. Room was decorated very nicely.



Breakfast was fantastic, something for every taste from fresh fruit, cheese, yoghurt, cereal to a full English. We had the full English, it was delicious, again waitress staff were lovely girls.



Location was in a nice, quiet leafy suberb, we felt safe walking back late at night. Tram station was a 10 minute walk away as was a pub and a few shops.



We would have loved to stay for another day but sadly had to get back for work. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it. Good job Lennox Lea crew, we had a fabulous weekend 10/10 x Great price too.

Having stayed here prior to the extensive refurbishments I must say that the rooms are top notch, the twin room (sofa bed) in which I stayed for the weekend could easily have been mistaken for a one bedroomed flat such were the facilities provided. The staff were very polite and helpful whilst the decor is a homely oldie world feeling, did I want to leave and drive home to Brighton? No!!!

Have stayed here a lot over the years and feel like one of the family now! Lovely staff, super food, comfortable bed - what more could you ask for?

Had our wedding meal here in 2009 and it was excellent. Amazing food, fantastic staff and beautiful rooms. They couldn't do enough to make us and all our guests feel welcome. Thank you guys, you made our special day feel even more special xxx

A cracking hotel !! I stayed in a recently refurbished well lit room that was immaculately clean, super comfy bed, good size well appointed bathroom with a great shower. The welcome on arrival was very friendly, the breakfast choice is excellent and the cooked breakfasts really are 1st rate. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful, I'd certainly be happy to stay again when next in the area. Great value, wonderful room, warm welcome, excellent location, marvellous breakfast - what more could you ask for?
