Come along to the Let's Animate studio and create your very own LEGO Brick stop frame animation.
Working in teams Filmmakers will devise a short scenario, build sets, animate their scene, add sound effects and edit their creations.

After the session all films are edited by Let's Animate and sent back to filmmakers to keep and share with friends and family, the final film will also be uploaded to Let's Animates social media and YouTube channel.

What a party, and so easy on the organiser.

The kids love it, they were kept engaged, learnt stuff and their creativity was challenged.

The party was perfectly planned, Gemma is a pro.

The resulting animation is just the best thing to send out with the thank you notes, share with distant family and I am sure it will be a blockbuster (in our house!).

At our party there were five year 6 girls. They all got involved and were brought out of their shells if required. There was not one world of discontent or moaning in the whole 3 hours.

The animation has even been handed in at school as part of homework!

The girls have not stopped talking about the party. Of course at 11 the girls are using some social media, the animation is just the best thing to share electronically.

What a fantastic experience for a party! My son has just celebrated his 9th birthday here and he and his friends had a fantastic time. Gemma is wonderful and went above and beyond for me with the party organisation. I can't rate this place highly enough. Fun, creative and innovative. A brilliant party, highly recommended.

What I love about Let's Animate is you know everything has been thought of, everything is well organised but, and most importantly, you know what the students produce will be creative, fun and very much their own idea, enhanced by the tutor to be the best it can be. Our learners always have a fantastic, lasting memory of what they have created with Let's Animate.

We had a fab workshop with Gemma, the children really enjoyed it and were very pleased with what they achieved!

Thank you for a fabulous birthday party - Samuel and his friends had a wonderful time making their Minecraft animations and are now off experimenting at home with more animation ideas. It was great fun and they learnt a lot -something really different, would definitely recommend it to others!

My niece had her birthday party here today and we all enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend �. Great animations were made. Great creativity from the girls making the models to go in the animation. And all smiles around. Definitely be returning again. Thank you

My 7yr old and I loved our plasticine animation workshop. Gemma was friendly and patient, the workshop was well organised and easy to follow, and yet we still felt like we had single-handedely created out own animation by the end of it! The grown ups enjoyed it equally as much as the kids. Am definitely considering this for Brooke's birthday party!

Lovely animation workshop. 6 year old loved learning some tips for animating with plasticine and how to add sound. Lovely little space full of inspiration. Gemma was great and encouraged fab creations.

I think this is brilliant idea, as a support worker sometimes it is hard to find things to do with a person you support I hopefully can see if I can engage with the I support to do this as he likes practical work.

I recently had a Let's Animate session for a friend's birthday, we were given several options of the type of animation to try and Gemma went above and beyond to accommodate my friend's accessibility needs. We both had a brilliant time and loved the result. We are now both in awe of the skill and patience it must take to do animation as a professional, and very impressed at how it was made accessible so two complete novices such as ourselves could end up with such a lovely looking video clip at the end of the process. I would absolutely recommend the workshops to adults as well as kids as we both had a fabulous time!

I bought the Star Wars Let's Animate session for my friend's son as a treat. He's a Lego & Star Wars fanatic and I thought this was a fantastic opportunity to be creative & imaginative with something he likes. Booking was easy and on the day we were welcomed, talked through the timetable for the session & arrangements made for emergency contact.

When the session finished we had an opportunity to preview the animation and were provided with details of how the film could be accessed later at home.

My friend's son really enjoyed the afternoon. He was keen to tell us about his work knowing he would be able to show his family later too.

Overall it was a good value experience, well run and welcoming in a quirky location in Coventry.

The best response I can offer is they are very keen to come to another Let's Animate event, asap.

Fantastic activity for children AND adults! We did a great workshop where we made a short ,simple film, using our own crafted characters with sound effects and dialogue - all in just over 2 hours! The children learned the basics of editing and created their own storylines - it was just brilliant. The session was relaxed and sociable and Gemma was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She made it feel simple and enjoyable. We have a boisterous son and an autistic daughter but they were both equally engrossed and produced some great stuff. Awesome! We'd love to attend a regular monthly club if we could!

Completely brilliant - kids had a great afternoon and were really proud of their finished work (and I was impressed how much they achieved too!). They love being able to watch their film on our own TV and have been inspired since the workshop to make their own animations at home as well. Highly recommended - we'll be back for more.

An excellent birthday party. Gemma was great - very well organised, and quietly in command the whole time. The girls (all Year 6) really enjoyed themselves. It was a very easy party for us as parents, as all we had to do was the food. Nice to do a party that's a bit different, and having the video to send out to everyone afterwards adds a special touch. Particularly good for winter birthdays as it all takes place indoors!

Amazing party at let's animate today. The girls loved making characters and seeing them come to life. Gemma is very friendly and great with the children. Would definitely recommend it for a fun birthday treat!.

Absolutely brilliant! My son has attended 2 of Gemma's workshops (so far) and has left both of them full of excitement and feeling inspired. Superbly run, fun and an all round great experience. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Absolutely brilliant! My 10 year old son went to the Lego animation course a week ago and has been buzzing ever since. So far, he's made a Lego animation film every day since the course. The perfect way to get your kids off that godawful gaming.
