What a shame. They've taken down the World cup bunting and knitted team strips from Fore Street. It looks so bare now.
Maybe they'll put something else up for Christmas. What are the chances eh?

As we start the run up to Christmas (6 weeks and it'll all be over!), the weather turns wintery. I wonder if it'll be a white Christmas. Anyway, to cheer us all up if you pop in today (Sat. 14th) and say "6 weeks to Boxing Day" and you spend more than £10, we'll knock 20% off your bill. Who says I'm not full of the festive spirit eh?

Well, summer is officially here and we are welcomed with wet and windy weather. I hope this isn't a taster of things to come. I think I will delay my summer salad menu board for a while!
On a positive note, only 270 days to Christmas. But seriously, lots of activities and events planned in Fore Street over the year ahead. So please come down and visit all us independents, and I'm sure you'll discover something new.
