Went to the soft play today with my nerly 12 month old and his friend. They had a grate time and a good price

User

We love the children's soft play area, and the children's food box deal too. Great value for money. Only thing that could be better are the toilets as sometimes they're a bit yucky but apart from that it's great

User

Really helpful, skating was great fun will definitely be returning.

User

We visited yesterday. It's an old style bowling alley (circa late 1970s/80s) where you still have to change your footwear into their bowling shoes. Our lane had a few issues with skittles not being picked up properly but this was rectified quickly each time. We found the staff very friendly, especially the guy who gave us back our footwear as we were leaving and had a lovely chat with my 5 year old grandson. The only reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5 is because the price was a bit steep, £58 for 2 games for 3 adults and 1 child. However I really enjoyed the step back in time and my kids and grandson had fun. Thank you.

User

We went bowling today which was good. The arcade however was not as good all machine where broke and old nothing really worked and considering you had to wait 50 mins for our game of bowling you would think there would be something decent to do whilst waiting especially when waiting with a 2 year old. It looks like the place is pulling in enough money to update and fix some of the machines don't think we will come back with the little one next time

User

Disappointing to be honest thought was coming ice skating was a white plastic floor impossible to skate on

User

Bowling is great, but the place is in a terrible state. Several buckets dotted around catching leaks. Many arcade machines all shoved into one place, not operational and it looked very unprofessional. Down by the party pods there were many boxes that looked like they had nowhere else to go. Big shame about the presentation of the place. Did dampen the experience. Sort it out, Let’s Go, and get it back to how it was.

User

Went bowling today and although that was fun, the arcade was rubbish, nothing worked and none of the machines accepted the new £1 coin!! Disappointing to say the least

User

Not very welcoming. Staff miserable and not bothered. Such a shame for North Devon.

User

Was the worst place I have ever been to will never go there again

User

The bowling was ok. But...

The staff were rude, unwelcoming and had no interest in being helpful or being there at all.

The whole place looks run down, it's dirty and the toilets were disgusting.

The music was appalling, lots of swearing, very inappropriate, especially at 5pm and with children around.

Would not recommend, never coming back.

Highlight of the visit was the Burger King next door.

User

That has to be the worst place to take your kids ever! The skating is massively over priced for 45 minutes. The skates are years old, most of them broken. I am surprised no one has been hurt and done them for health and safety! The staff were polite and refunded but they all look about 12 including the manager. They had a kid running the skate rink who had no idea what they were doing. Very disappointed! Wouldn't advise anyone to go, disgustingly dirty as well. If they were inspected they would probably be shut down. Crap!

User

Staff need to seriously adjust their attitude

User

Skating is pointlessly awful, don't bother. Nothing like real ice skating, also dangerous... One child in our party cut themselves on a sharp corner on one of the penguin balance aids, and we witnessed another child fall and smash their lip on the same penguin. I got a staff member to tape it up but this is the sort of thing that should have been checked as routine health and safety. AVOID

User

Rang this morning to see if we needed to book for ice skating (for my daughters 9th birthday treat). Told no need to book, & the rink should be ready & open at 6pm. Turned up at 6pm to be told it won’t be ready for at least an hour. Frustrated to say the least. Had MaccyD’s whilst we waited. Rang again at 7.15pm to be told told, it’s not ready, probably won’t be ready at all this evening!

What’s the point in advertising an option that’s not actually available??? Useless, staff were not rude, but completely apathetic & uninterested in my situation.

Won’t bother again & I’d advise anyone else to avoid like the plague!

User

Over priced, £6.50 for a 3year old. Old bowling lanes, buckets everywhere to collect leaking water. Arcades games pushed to one side. Just massive let down. Avoid this place.
