We had a great family day .music and all the bands were fantastic . just a couple of things . First .. toilets to far away (especialy with children) could we have a set each side of the park next year second .. drinks are way over priced

User

Oh what a fantastic day! Loved every single moment of it. Absolute best for me was OMD - OMG they were amazing. So so thrilled to have been here and seen them. Great size of a concert too - not too big and everyone was so well behaved too. Thanks guys for a fab time. I agree about the flags too. Next year, if you could arrange more veggie/vegan pit stops, that would be fab - the Falafel staff and stall were just amazing. Lovely lads. Thanks again - cant wait to book for next year.

User

OMD were brilliant and really hope they'll be there next year, with ABC also fantastic. Human League deservedly topped the bill, what a voice Phil still has! How about Alison Moyet and The Thompson Twins for next year? Had a great day and I thought it was all well organised and so great to see a field full of 50+'s bopping away and singing their hearts out!

User

Loved it will hopefully go next year. OMD were brill. Also loved Jason Donovan and Nick Hayward although rest were great also. People in charge of toilets did an excellent job. Stall selling pizza was a rip off tho £10 for a pizza base with a smearing of tomato paste and sprinkling of cheese, meatfeast was same with just a couple of bits of chicken and pepperoni!

User

It was my first year and i loved it great bands omd ohh yes topped the night off human league ohh yes but omd out done them in my loving of certainly be back next year with out a doubt v i p is best way to go well done all involved making it memorable day for me and my nephew mark hanks who brought me the vip ticket made my day x

User

I had been looking forward to this for months and it didn't disappoint. A fantastic line up, well organised event, real feel-good factor. VIP area was good value, although only one slight gripe - the music in the tent was very loud and a couple of times it didn't end before the main acts had started. However, overall, what an amazing day and a great way to enjoy my 50th birthday celebrations. Thank you!

User

Fantastic day of music and memories we Danced and sang all day

I have not seen Jason Donovan live before but he did not seem to be on the same planet as the rest of us ??

Perhaps you can correct me please ??

User

Brilliant day great music Toyah and OMD was my fav, downside wish we knew we could take a picnic it said no food , £6.50 for a dry tasteless burger , and a £10 for a pizza. Expensive bar but guess expect that. Toilets to far away, But was a great day otherwise .

User

Amazing. Family Friendly. 2nd year and can not wait to book for the 3rd! Lots of talent on stage all day really worth the money you pay! Everyone was kind and nobody was causing trouble. Only bad things i noticed were the drinks..way over priced! Luckily we made a picnic and had our own drinks so not too much of a issue really. And the Loos they were really good considering they were in a field but a little far from the stage.

Will see you again next year. Booking again on the 31st if August Can not wait! Excellent fun filled family event.

5 stars due to the amount of amazing music,Family friendly, price of tickets and excellent enviroment we spend 12 hours there and 0 issues with other people attending. Safe environment and good security and lots of medical teams about.

User

Absolutely brilliant day. Very well organised, security good but not overbearing. Good selection of food and drink. Toilets v.clean. Big thanks to everybody involved. Acts were great particularly the finale (Heaven 17, OMD, ABC, and Human League). If people weren't impressed with that line up then they're coming to the wrong event. Although I enjoyed last year's line up, this year's was definitely better. I'm assuming that the organisers were testing the response to the first one last year and now they know they can sell out each time then presumably they have a larger budget and get bigger names each year. Next year's wish list: Culture Club, Depeche Mode, Echo and the Bunnymen, the Pretenders, Talk Talk, Kid Creole?? . Even the weather was great. Only minor gripe, there was a bit of a cock up at the end with some people being directed to the wrong exit gate but apart from that 10/10.

User

A great day. Only thing the music in the VIP tent which had moved from last year so over powered music in the stage. Would of been could to have the screen showing what was going on stage as we sat half way back. Other than that ready and awaiting to book for next year

User

1st ever concert & I'm glad to share with such awesome friends & fantastic bands specially OMD.....Now I understand why people said OMG its OMD as they were A Mazing & now I can't stop playing their tunes. Keep up the good work Let's Rock & look forward to attending more in the future. And to top it all of was weather stayed lovely & sunny too :D :D

User

The good:

Our first year at Lets rock, and we loved it. Already looking forward to 2019.

All acts sounded great.

Smooth organisation, good security, friendly atmosphere.

The park and ride worked brilliantly.

The toilets were clean until the end of the day and I didn’t once have to queue. No queue at the bar, either.

Glad we brought food and chairs.

Glass bottle deposit was a great idea.

The bad:

The toilets were a long walk from the main area.

The music from the VIP area drowned out the main stage later in the evening.

The main stage seemed to die of death between acts towards the end. Don’t know what happened to the hosts. There was zero build up for the headline act.

The running order should be available in advance. And expecting people to *pay* for a copy of it on the day is just wrong.

I was glad that water was freely available, but more water points were needed, especially as it was a hot day.

£20 for a bottle of wine. Just saying.

The ugly:

There really should be a smoking area. Nowhere else in public now are non-smokers forced to breathe in others’ toxic fumes for 10+ hours.

So. Much. Plastic. Waste.

User

Really enjoyed the day. Enjoyed all the musicians, acts, and shout out to all the band members and back stage crew for all their hard work. Toyah... just wow! She looked and sounded awesome.. great dress! OMD fab-u-lous, they have helped me get through some big pieces of work lately by listening to their best of album (over and over again) so great to see them live, full of energy, great showmanship .. will google Andys dance routines for next time I would say that last year set up was better.. having the one field as the food court area that hosted a better variety of food. This year the VIP area had moved and was quite loud with music so could not hear what was going on in the main stage. Only one stall (apart from cafe) had tea and coffee and no cake stall ?? (Other than brownies). Overall if u keep up the good 80’s band , good security will be back next year!

User

Fantastic day, great line-up and brilliant atmosphere. OMD completely excelled themselves, even with the crazy dancing . Drinks were more expensive this year which was a shame, and agree with previous comments about the VIP lounge music being far too loud, and unnecessary! Couldn't hear what was going on the main stage between acts, so hoping next year it's moved back to where it was last year!! Also a bit miffed at the posh loos being in a different location! Paid £18 for the convenience of it being near to where all the action was, but had to walk all the way round to where the other loos were, and queued for ages to get a cubical!! Lots of ladies were quite disgruntled about that! Won't bother paying extra anymore! Apart from that, it was a great day and will be back next year!

User

Fantastic day, great bands. OMD were the stars of the show but all bands were brilliant. Negative points were that the toilets were way too far away from the main stage but were clean, and drinks prices were outrageous. Great that you could bring your own soft drinks and picnic. Security/staff all very polite and friendly. Glad to see the Earlham Cafe was allowed to operate this year. All in all a really enjoyable day out.

User

Bands were fab as was all the technical aspects. Food and drinks plentifull and no waiting at the bar so was great. Toilets very well maintained. One issue I thought was so disappointing to see so much plastic waste. Surely must be possible these days to find alternatives . A sea of plastic. Reusable individual plastic glasses maybe with deposit scheme or souvenir?

User

Amazing day yesterday at let's rock was there celebrating my hen party Jason donavan and OMD smashed it was super disappointed with human league OMD should of defiantly headlined the show and gone out with a bang rather then walking out feeling deflated from the final act

User

Last year’s show was excellent and was totally worthy of 5 stars. This year wasn’t a patch on last year. Firstly the bands weren’t anywhere near as good and many sounded exactly the same, the posh loos were further away, the music from the VIP area was far too loud and clashed with the stage music and the hugely overpriced food didn’t have a great choice. Nowhere to get any breakfast either, considering the gates opened a couple of hours before the event. Last year’s layout was perfect so why change it? They need to disclose the line up when the tickets go on sale too, not weeks or months afterwards.

User
