Lets Talk About Mental Health.

I am building a new future for all young people to be educated on mental health disorders and those already suffering to get the support they truly deserve

Last year I had a very extreme mental breakdown which resulted in my attempt to take my own life. I was in the hospital in a critical condition, being promised that I would get the treatment I needed. (This was my second suicide attempt in one year). I am today, over a year later STILL on the waiting list to be seen by health care professionals at CAHMS. I had one follow up calling asking how I felt, and that is all I have had in the nature of 'support'.

Now I am building a new future for all young people to be educated on mental health disorders and those already suffering to get the support they truly deserve. I am filming a documentary interviewing those affected by Mental Health Disorders or bullying which will be my promotional platform for the new organisation /charity called 'Crazies'.

People are aware of Mental Health but they don't seem to be aware that something needs to be done. We need to start talking about it.

I have since posted a status on Facebook asking for support; I have had hundreds of messages from people all over Devon wanting to take part in the project. Filming begins next week.

My main goal is to get more funding for Mental Health and to create a website which is a safe place for those in need to visit and get the help they need when professionals are not around. I am also campaigning to get schools to educate young people about Mental Health and target bullying in a new way

I have a dream to change the next generation of Mental Health disorders. It starts now and I hope you can help me on making a difference.
