Hey guys! We have a favour to ask! well, not so much a favour, some news to tell you and possibly a favour to ask.
So we have noticed with the very few posts we have put on here that something is wrong. With us advertising our stock on our website now, facebook is suppressing the engagement a lot.
... SO! We have made a LEVEL UP GROUP. We have wanted to do this for ages, because we miss the community spirit that came with our store. It was never just about making money, it was about interacting with you guys. So we will obviously still be posting stuff on the page, but we will also be posting the same stuff on there, to give us more of a chance to get the word out but also, to give you guys a chance to see it!

So I dont usually plug my own personal youtube channel on here, but over the last month of Level UP closing, I filmed parts of it documenting the highs and lows of it all. It meant a lot to me to get this video right, as in a way, it's like my own little send off for my physical store. Selling our beloved Casio till. It has a screen on the other side to display the price to the customers. Adjustable coin slots and still has the key to turn off and on and also other settings. Not to mention enough thermal till rolls to last a life time (These also fit in your card machine too if you have one that prints receipts) £35

Selling 2 of these tables. They are heavy duty tables with folding metal legs. They measure 5ft 11 X 2ft 3 They're 2ft 5 in height. These are perfect for selling on, playing board games or even just stored away for those garden parties.... Both in amazing condition with no faults what so ever. £30 each.

Outside our store are some cardboard boxes, whatever is put in them over the next couple of days is completely free!

So we're clearing a lot of things out this week and some of it we can't take with us. Well be selling off our cabinets, tables, shells and till etc and donating some other things. Anything purchased MUST be collected by Thursday 5pm x

Auction is going amazingly well. We're just enjoying our first break but about start lot 30 onwards in a minute!

Went in for the first time, yesterday, with a few questions about comics/graphic novels, and looking for info on John Constantine. Ended up having a great chat, and leaving much more knowledgable of the genre, generally speaking, and with a copy of one of his stories as per their recommendation. Now read, I can say it was a great choice, and I will be returning tomorrow to get a few more to see me through my long train journey tomorrow afternoon. :).

Went in for the first time for free comic book day, only meant to look around & maybe buy a comic to support a local business I heard about in the Echo. Ended up buying a stack of graphic novels & then a few more as the lovely girl on the counter said it was 20% off today so might as well get some more. Great little place. Reminds me of the old school record shops you could find gems in. Will be a regularly from now on.

Was back at my favourite LCS today and was not disappointed....some great finds and a great host with a lovely happy disposition today! Thanks guys for keeping my reserved items. Easy 5 star rating for me.

Served by a lovely, glittery, helpful lady and purchased a Munster funko. I’ll be back �

Really amazing shop. Was given a really good deal on some manga that I wanted, really kind and helpful staff 5 stars!!!!!!!

I've been looking for a decent comic shop since moving up to Liverpool . I've had my fair share of bad experiences from asking someone if they had a copy of the dark night returns and being told " is that a comic" ?? . To overhearing 2 employees slagging off my 2 year old son who in their eyes was just going to "wreck their stuff". ( both from 2 other shops in the area that I won't mention on here) after being recommended level up by a friend I thought I'd check it out and I'm really glad that I did .



Lucy and the gang are very friendly and passionate people . Your not treated like "another customer" and they are genuinely Interested in your needs and even just having a conversation with you. The shop itself is has a nice simple yet structured layout with everything in its own place , from walking in for the first time I was quickly able to find what I was looking for . I like the fact it's a Simple small business as this gives Lucy the ability to Taylor the shop for the needs of her and her customers and is not tied down by mainstream shops . This is a shop the stands up on its own merits and I honesty can't see myself going anywhere else .

I love this shop not been in much but every time I go all I get in response are happy cherry and welcoming staff! they are informative, polite and are always up for a fun chat. Really down to earth people that you can relate with if they have any opening jobs I would take it in a heart beat. forget the 5 star system I give level up a high rate of the three triforce' from legend of zelda keep up the good work guys

I love retro games and comics so this a great shop! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and will always help you with any queries you have. I really like the section where they have comics in order of date - its great for birthday presents, I'm planning on getting my bf a comic from when he was born :)



Overall, a really nice shop with an everchanging selection of games and comic books :) I'll definitely be in again

I Rented a cabinet for a week and the found Lucy and the Staff to be extremely helpful and very responsive. Some of my stuff sold within a couple of days so it was well worth it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to sell any off there unwanted items/collectables!

Great service from knowledgeable and helpful staff via the Facebook page for an online order. Quick tracked shipping (despite the time of year, the parcel arrived within 2 days of ordering - and the order was placed after trading hours too!) - the items arrived well wrapped & protected and exactly as described. The pre-purchase advice was faultless & greatly appreciated. Excellent service all round - just wish there was a branch near me :)

Finally made it to the new shop. Could easily spend a fortune there. Love it

They always price things up fairly and are often cheaper than ebay (considering, with ebay you have to pay for shipping as well) Both Jack and Lucy are genuinely helpful and lovely people who really care about what they do and sell as well as their customers care and interests. Their always seems to be a happy and positive attitude in store which i can imagine is hard considering all they work they put in and how busy it gets sometimes.

Fabulous shop, one of the best independent retailers in the city. Incredibly helpful staff, with unparalleled knowledge of the classic gaming industry. Fantastic prices and an excellent range of products. You’d be a fool to go anywhere else!

Can always find little gems in the shop and the staff are so lovely and helpful. <3

A really nice and humble store with a very friendly proprietor. Went in and purchased a couple of retro games for the sega Saturn and N64, prices were great also. Definitely check this place out if you are in town! There aren't many stores like this anymore so if you are into retro games, modern or comic books then Level Up is worth a look in :)
