World Masters Squash Championships - Update Disappointment for Pallen as injury forces withdrawal. Last night saw disappointment for Paul as he had to withdraw part way through his quarter final match due to a hamstring injury. Serving at 9/7 in the first set a gruelling rally ensued after which Paul was seen stretching his hamstring. Unfortunately his worst fears were confirmed whilst trying to play out the rest of the first set losing the next 3 points and the game 9/11....
The second set started badly with him unable to reach any of Patrick’s drop shots and at 1/7 down Paul retired injured.
A highly frustrating end to a campaign that had seen a semi-final spot a real possibility.
Hopefully the injury will clear in time for the start of the England Masters series in September and that targeted England call-up.

Paul Allen marches into the Quarter Finals
Following last nights 3/1 win (11/9, 2/11, 11/2, 11/7) over Tim Wyant of the USA Paul will now face another American Patrick Chifunda in the Quarter Finals tonight (Thursday) at 5:10pm Local time, 10:10pm UK time. Live stream MSC Court 4 via https://www.wmsquash.com/live/

World Masters Squash Championships - Update - Paul Allen
1st round bye gave PA the day off on Monday. This was followed by a walkover in round 2 so practice match played instead.
Last 16 match against 5/8 seed Tim Wyant from the USA at 7pm local time, 00:00 UK time.
... Paul has reported no further hamstring worries. He was able to watch Tim play his second round match yesterday and is confident that it should be a close match. Pauls match will be live streamed from court 5 on https://www.wmsquash.com/live/ starting at 23:50 tonight (Wednesday)

This low life scum paid us a visit last night and stole a a couple of charity collection tins. Thankfully nothing else was taken.
We’re pretty sure he got on the roof and forced an upstairs office window. Local businesses beware.
If anyone in the Chitts Hill, Colchester area recognises him please get in touch. The police would appreciate the information.
