Fantastic service from James. He did well to price match on a new cube e-bike. They also discounted the accessories I purchased without me having to ask. All my bike info is stored on their computer system for ease of servicing etc. One of the many advantages of buying from a local dealer.

I had a few Problems with my bike that I brought from them . They where really helpful.

Charged £180 for a bike service that I was told would cost £80 maximum. When challenged they were indifferent and then "discounted" 20 pounds off the cost. I couldn't exactly leave a without the bike as I needed it to get to work. To summarize, completely unacceptable business conduct.

I needed some new hope wheels for my mtb. Thanks to Martin at lickety split for the great price and excellent service. I now use lickety split for any parts and servicing needed on my bikes.

Arrogant, only looking to sell, not helpful. I went in there with a problem with my rear derailleur, blokey sees my front derailleur set up and tells me that is never gonna work, even though I had it working well (SRAM rival 22 with Tiagra long-arm FD over Tiagra compact cranks). Turns out I had mistakenly bought a 1x RD, but it took them £12 worth of 'service' to tell me that; disgusting. Go to Bike Shed (or even Halfords) instead.

Not particularly good. I went in there hoping to get some suggestions of bikes that could suit me, only to be told that there were only two bikes in the shop that I could really choose from. All the rest were out of stock. The two that I was offered were very overpriced and the sales assistant wasn't very friendly, so I went to Halfords just down the road which had a great selection of bikes at much better prices. The bike I got from Halfords has done me well so I'd recommend people avoid Lickety Split and go there instead.

Forget Halfords, go directly to Lickety Split!
