Life Cycle Derby

We are a bike recycling project in Derby City, run by Life Cycle UK.

We provide Cycle repairs, sales, cycle rider training & Maintenance training.

We can provide free cycle parking stands to businesses, community groups and charities in Derby.

Bike Back Derby takes in donations of unwanted, unloved adult bikes. We then take them to one of three prisons where prisoners completely refurbish the bikes back to a safe and roadworthy condition. The bikes are then brought back to Derby, checked by a professional mechanic and sold at affordable prices to local communities.

Bike Back Derby encourages people to take up cycling as a means of getting to and from their place of work or study. The bikes are sold at low low prices and in some cases, funding allowing, practically given away.

Bike Back Derby also wants to help people keep cycling. We provide a fully comprehensive repairs service and a FREE, no obligation diagnostic MOT check by our own resident professional mechanics.

Bike Back Derby wants to help people love cycling. We also provide cycle maintenance courses, rider training courses and organised rides for lots of different groups. Whether your an advanced rider, or riding for fun there's always something going on at Bike Back that will be of interest.
