Originally this art deco building opened in 1936 as The Moderne cinema boasting 1500 seats and operating until the mid-1960s when it was taken over by Coral then Gala Bingo until 2008. It is now the home of Bournemouth Community Church and a vibrant hub of the local community.

Lifecentre is just 10 minutes from the A338 Wessex Way /Ringwood spur road, the main motorway into Bournemouth.

Boasting a 180 seater state of the art conference room (Chine), a 1000 seater theatre (Harbour), a spacious contemporary upper foyer area – incorporating the Café Moderne which is an ideal venue for wedding receptions with seating for up to 100 people, 2 smaller suites and free parking for 35 cars.
