The youth company based at South Hill Park, are looking for enthusiastic dancers aged 12-21 looking to take their dance training up a gear.
Dancers get to train with and perform alongside professional dance artists, choreographers and companies.

The photos from Lift Off Dance Festival are now ready to view! If you were a performer or audience member, ask your dance teacher if they asked for photos to be taken at the tech, and if they did they will be able to access and buy your dance groups full gallery of photos for just £15 to share with you all.

What an amazing weekend! 2 shows, 16 hours of tech rehearsals, 8 professional dance masterclasses with just under 300 dancers attending, over 600 performers, over 600 people in the audience, 2 Finales and countless hours of rehearsals from all the dance groups. Lift Off Youth & Community Galas have been a great success!
I hope everyone attending the wonderful masterclasses enjoyed the sessions and that all groups performing and audience members enjoyed the weekend.

Edifice Dance Theatre is a dance collective with its own hybrid movement language combining partnering techniques, contact improvisation and ballroom dance. The session will improve partnering skills, stimulate creativity alongside learning professional company repertoire. Previous contemporary experience required.
Age 13+
Dance Studio, £5

This session is aimed at dancers, athletes and gymnasts and covers Level 1 & 2 cheer and cheer stunt techniques. All shapes and sizes welcome. Cheer experience is not needed - strength and stamina are! Mats will be provided. Please wear dance clothing, trainers and bring a bottle of water.

Join Luke Brown in this challenging and inspiring Contemporary session that will push your creativity and performance skills. Learn more about Luke’s signature choreographic process as well as how to develop your own choreographic language.

Join Dan Little for this energetic and creative Street Dance masterclass, showcasing powerful street dance repertoire that is the signature of the award winning Vanquish brand.

Artistic Director Jodie Blemings leads this masterclass that will give a flavour of the highly dynamic style that has become the company's signature. This class will include multiple choreographic combinations designed to increase stamina and power, incorporating floorwork, jumps and travelling sequences which will leave participants exhilarated and energised.

Ex-English National Ballet and Michael Clark Company dancer Désirée will lead an inspiring ballet technique masterclass, looking at the fundamentals that underpin a great dance technique as well as teaching some well known ballet repertoire.
