Lighthouse Dental Practice

The best dental practice I've ever been to!!!
Before signing up to the Lighthouse, I had only ever known NHS dentistry, and thus was amazed at the undeniable difference in level of care, patient information and attention to detail provided here. Furthermore, being a substantially nervous patient (due to horrible past dentist experiences) I feel confident that when I go in for an appointment I will be treated with respect and consideration for my anxieties during treatment. For example, I recently went in for a filling and scaling with Dr Tocca (which I was quite nervous about) and was assured that if I felt any pain I could halt the treatment and be given extra anaesthetic or even be sedated if I was too uncomfortable, making the whole experience easily bearable as I felt completely numb during the procedure. Yes, private dentistry is more expensive, however I personally would never go back to an NHS dentist after finding a place as exceptional as the Lighthouse; I would much rather pay the extra fees for the elimination of anxieties and being able to work together with the dental team to improve my dental health (of which has greatly improved since joining!!)

After arriving at Lighthouse Dental Practice for an emergency appointment, I was relieved to hear from Dr Tocca that the extreme pain I was experiencing would subside with antibiotics, and there was hope for my decayed molar. Over three further appointments, he thankfully saved and restored my molar with root canal treatment.

I am so grateful to Dr Tocca and his team for their warm, gentle, and professional manner, which made me feel at ease throughout the procedures. Nothing was too much trouble! I would highly recommend Dr Tocca and his team.

Previously I had gone to the NHS for all my dental work because I am not the richest of individuals and I couldn’t really see much of a difference except for the price. I went through YEARS of pain and suffering all in ignorance. Finally, when the NHS practice were “concerned my treatment was taking too long” they got their head dentist on the case. I have suffered broken limbs, tattoos, burns, deep cuts and beatings, but NONE of that compared to the torture he put me through.
I finally bit the bullet and came to the Lighthouse practice. I have never looked back since. Dr Tocca is the most patient, understanding, professional and caring dentist I have ever met or even heard of! I never in my life thought I could almost drift off in a chair while a dentist was drilling away, but he makes sure you are as comfortable and pain free as physically possible. I won’t even start on how helpful and understanding the rest of the staff are. I have done nothing but sing praise about the Lighthouse ever since. Two thumbs WAY up!

The lighthouse Dental practice offers a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful. I travel around 50 miles to my appointments with Dr Tocca because the service provided is great.
