A very special evening for our Rockstar resident this evening when we threw him a surprise party and invited friends and family, many of who he hadn't seen in years. Well done to those that made it happen ๐งก
What better way to celebrate the end of the month... Than by making mince pies and pretending its Christmas all over again!
Tonight, we celebrated burns night with some good ol' fashioned haggis! Went down a treat with all empty plates ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ

No dull start to the year for us! We visited Brazil for our Worldwide Wednesday and tried Feijoada which was described as a "yummy spicy stew." We have had coffee mornings, pantomime trips, music sessions, been swimming and at the end of December had our CQC inspection! We have loads of activities and trips coming up, including celebrating a 50th and 70th birthday!
Happy new year!!!!! With love from all of us
The big fat quiz of the year 2019! Starting the New Year's celebrations with a buffet and quiz night
Boom ๐ฅ Another Lilena party smashed. A fantastic night was had by all. These three ladies should be very proud of themselves for all their hard work that went into the setting up, hosting (and clearing away!) such a brilliant evening. Thankyou to the staff and residents from Pentree and The Crescent who came, and also to all the friends and family who partied with us. Special thanks also to Barry who entertained us with his guitar playing, and Brian who was our very own Santa.
Party time!!!
For tonight's World Wide Wendesday, we tried Cap Cai - a stir fry from Indonesia (with a few slight amendments due to not having the ingredients) it was a hit! With every resident trying it, and many clean plates! ๐ฎ๐ฉ
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas ๐๐โ๐
This week for Worldwide Wednesday, we visited South Africa. Contorary to the name, this dish didn't contain our pet bunny rabbits!
More fun with sparklers
Warm up for the fireworks later with sparklers and bonfire hot dogs! ๐
