We only stopped by for coffee and one of their wonderful hot chocolates but then I was tempted to order the steak burger and wow I wasn’t disappointed! I think that was one of the nicest beef burgers I’ve ever had! The meat was perfectly cooked and still juicy. The chips and salad that came with it were also lovely as were all the extras in the burger itself. Staff were welcoming and friendly too.

We had a superb meal here The vegetarian choice was fantastic I was spoilt for options! The meat eaters in our group loved their dishes opting to try something new also from the specials and stretch their tastebuds. Staff were attentive and engaging making our night fun Thank you all xxx Ps. Fab prosecco too �

Unfortunately no padron peppers (out of season) but all the other dishes were great as always, crispy chilli beef is a personal favourite. We hope the black pudding & sausagemeat scotch egg with Cajun ketchup becomes a regular on the menu - Gorgeous! Staff were friendly and food came out at comfortable intervals.

So amazing our second visit here and the food was stunning the first time, the calamari was out of this world, we even offered a passer by to try a bit cos she looked like she was having a bad day, she loved it too. The staff were attentive and very friendly, atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Can't wait to go again. Yum �

Really enjoyed our visit last Friday (29th Dec). The staff were so friendly and we did not feel rushed at all. The table was ours for the evening which we loved. The food was so tasty and you could tell it was all freshly cooked. Lovely cocktails. Really enjoyed ourselves and we definitely want to visit again soon. Thank you.

Loved our lunch here today, four girls two babies and one child, we all had a lovely time, delicious wine and Nachos, and very attentive staff, who made pasta which wasn't even on the menu. Thank you all, loved every minute. :)

Have dined here numerous times and always a lovely experience. A great atmosphere with great food and lovely staff! A must visit restaurant and bar when in Barnstaple.

Handy location in Barnstaple. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. I had Calamari which was the softest I have had in a very long while. It melted in your mouth and there was a good portion size too. I followed this with Scallops which you could have served 2 ways. My husband had seafood paella and again this was a very good sized portion for the money and this was followed by sardines. We also shared a bowl of excellently crispy fries. We have been before and will definitely go again. I can highly recommend the tapas there.

Had a lovely lunch on Monday really great menu lots of choice . My husband wanted extra squid no problem at all. All the staff are very pleasant.

Great food, we always order lots of dishes so it comes out in stages which is fab it allows us to enjoy the food whilst not rushing and having a good natter. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff are just fab so attentive with nothing being too much bother, defiantly number one on my list of places to eat in Barnstaple.

Always a pleasure eating and drinking, especially on special occasions, which it was, our wedding anniversary and there is only one place to celebrate. Waitress was amazing as always, professional but friendly. Food exceptional.

After a family bike ride down the Tarka Trail, it was great to stop off for a bit of lunch.

Love a bit of lilicos. Got very excited about my calimari yesterday. That couldn't even say it properly when ordering 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. But waitress got what I said 😎😎. Came in for a birthday 🎉 treat. Feel able to come into lilicos in a group or just by myself to watch the world go by relaxing outside. Lovely place

I will always chose Lilicos for a special meal. Was there last night for my birthday with friends and had a downstairs table for tapas meal. Everything was wonderful, except the veal which was so tough! However I'll know for next time. The coffee is one of the best and go 2 or 3 times a week for a leisurely latte, browse of the paper, and people watch around the square. Gota say Chris and Wanda never fail to impress.

Food was amazing especially the chilli beef .. only thing I would of changed was to ask for the dishes to be served together as sharing with 4 found ourself eating 1 meatball each and waiting for the next dish
