Went to the opening night, lovely decor. Great place to relax and socialise.

Went here for the first time on saturday with my wife and friends... made to feel so welcome... you felt like it was your local... we didnt try the food but it looke amazing and we will be going back next week for more drinks and food... keep up the great work lil's bar your gonna be a great success

We stayed last weekend and our room was lovely clean and tidy with excellent views of the River, perfect location for exploring York or just having a girls night out like us. Would recommend a stay at this Bistro

We had our first visit on sunday. The place looks great. Loved the decor.

The staff were all really friendly too. We had afternoon tea which was fab. Plenty of sandwiches and a lovely choice of cakes/tarts/puddings and the cherry scones were yum. The sunday roast looked amazing too. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely mothers day afternoon!

We called in for a drink, but decided on food as it looked so good, had fillet steaks & burgers they were delicious & cooked to perfection!. We asked for a portion of the cooked brie, to share, & they came back to say it would not be enough for 4 of us, but we said we only wanted a couple of pieces each-was humongous when it arrived (6 pieces each) would defo reccomend & will return on our next trip to York.

Was made to feel so welcome from the moment we walked in till the moment we left the staff are amazing and the room was perfect as well as the food and cocktails we will definitely be back �

Food is absolutely phenomenal, had the Old Yorker and was not disappointed! Service is fantastic, yet to try some of their delicious cocktails but have been told they are to die for!

Terrible, slow, incompetent service outside. How can you have table service when the staff don’t know what the table numbers are? Clearly charging tourist prices.
