Went with my daughter today for the first time and it won't be the last! We had afternoon tea and it was delicious. Would highly recommend but take a plastic box because they give you so much lovely food that you cannot eat it all, they did wrap it in tin foil but got a bit crushed on the way home but still tasted delicious. 5*

Went to Lily's today for afternoon tea. We were seated quickly and the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The tea was made using loose leaf tea and was served in a huge teapot. The afternoon tea came in 2 parts, firstly a selection of sandwiches, home made chips and hot nibbles, then a wonderful selection of cakes. We didn't manage to eat everything, but what was left over was very kindly wrapped for us to take home. It was a lovely, quaint tea room and despite being very busy, the staff were attentive. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Went for afternoon tea with my mum.It was the best afternoon tea I have every had,far to much to eat but the staff wrapped it up for us to take home. Staff very pleasant and helpful.Woyld highly recommend Lillies.

Went for afternoon tea with my mum for her birthday. The staff were friendly and were happy to help with anything we asked. On leaving we were able to take a bag of leftover cakes home. It’s a hidden little gem. We would recommend to anyone interested in eating out there.

Went for afternoon tea on Saturday as part of my 65th birthday celebrations, with my wife Julie. The staff were brilliant and the ambiance was great. Got to say we were more than fulfilled, the food and cakes were delicious. We will definitely returning for second helpings.

Was in on Tuesday 7 nov , my friend and I had a lovely meal , I had liver and mash , the mash I am sure we're made from real potatoes and not packet , really tasty lovely atmosphere will go back for another meal well done

Was a very nice experience lovely to drink from nice cups instead of mugs food was lovely chips were very nice xxx

Took my Mum for Mother's Day afternoon tea however we opted to go on the Tuesday after Mothers Day because we knew it would be too busy. So glad we chose to go on a different day because we were able to relax and enjoy our lovely afternoon tea the way it always is. Thankyou Lilys for making our visit so enjoyable xx My Mum loved it and so did I. Will definitely be going back again.

Great friendly place with fabulous afternoon tea

Lovely surroundings friendly staff. Went with my mum and had High Tea which was a nice mix of sandwiches filled with plenty of ham. Handful of crisps and salad. Fruit scone jam and pot of clotted cream. Scone was full of fruit and tasted delicious. Loved the decor set out in old style and played old songs. Mum said she would love to go back which was a plus as we have never been before. We were lucky to find a table as 2 ladies were leaving as we arrived. Would defo take mum back.

Love love love � this place xx great food � great atmosphere, great staff. We always said our mums would love � the place, but unfortunately we were never able to get them there to enjoy the surroundings, due to ill health, they both sadly passed away before we could take them �every time we go, we always think of them as they would have loved The Tea Rooms ��

I brought my little boy & my mum here for breakfast as I'd been past many times & it always looked so inviting, the music was a mixture of Jazz & songs from The Wizard of Oz to songs that sounded like they were from Cinderella & it was a nice change to listen to them.



The breakfast was very filling but not overflowing & was very nicely cooked & you get a choice of brown or white toast, the pot of tea for 2 is a better choice than the pot for 1 as I like my cup of real tea.



If you want a change from a pub breakfast or you Jst want a bit of elegance than this is the place.

I booked a table for my daughters 28th birthday yesterday, with her best friend what a lovely friendly warm n cosy atmosphere, the girls are just lovely too, very helpful as to what ever you need , & nothings too much trouble for us customers , the aft tea is absolutely fabulous & delicious & you get plenty with a very good selection of cakes very fresh & my daughter loved it there thankyou she really enjoyed her day , well done to all the staff keep up the good work & i will most definately be returning with family or friends again, already planning my return visit . fully recommend Lilys Victorian Tearooms to anyone absolutely fab.�����

I absolutely love coming here, lovely friendly atmosphere, the staff are so friendly and the food is presented very well, the afternoon tea is fabulous well done ladies keep up the good work xxx

Had festive afternoon tea with my mum and baby and it was gorgeous such friendly staff and food was amazing as always. Have afternoon tea at lilys every few months and it never disapoints. Plus the fact that the staff were amazing with my son for which I can't Thank them enough. Highly recommend � x

Four of us came yesterday.

This was the second time we have had Afternoon Tea here.

Oldie Worldie room with China Cups , Plates and Teapots.

Savouries where lovely with home made chips like my Nanna used to make. Different types of Sandwiches with a variety of Savories.

Cake selection was yummie. Scones with Jam and clotted cream where scrummy.

Had to bring some cakes home and enjoyed them today.

Staff friendly . Lovely Atmosphere.

Would recommend everyone to have AnAfternoon Tea here.

Came with my husband we both loved our afternoon tea we had. Couldn't finish all the cakes as we were stuffed and friendly helpfull staff wrapped up remaining cakea for us to enjoy later on,also changed some of the sandwich selection due to a fussy husband with no problem. great service food lovely would really recommend going there.. thank you ladies x

Been a few times i highly recommend the steak pie with chips its to die for. Chilli con carne, shepherds pie and homemade burger also amaze. My 8 month yr old son a massive portion of the shepherds pie and cried when i took it away from him before he exploded lol. Lovely authentic surroundings and pleasant staff
