Today, sees us hold our heads and heavy hearts for those that lost their life to war against mankind in New York
This isn't out of the ordinary but the events were extraordinary...
... Our service men and women go out to protect us still now in 2018 on a daily basis as much as they did during world war 1 and 2 and today we would like to launch our ’Poppy Garden’ to remember those served over the years and those current serving to protect us all, daily!
For 4 whole weeks our Lime Bar Lounge Penwortham garden is going to turn happy in a mist the winter season to incorporate remembrance Sunday!
We are going to plant a sea of handmade ceramic Poppies from friends, families, individuals and businesses with heartfelt personal messages
On the planting ceremony on Sunday 4th November we will invite all contributors to plant their poppy, whilst we have a beautiful brass band playing and complimentary soup for all! A perfect time to reflect and pay respect to those that have fallen before us
All proceeds will be donated directly to charity and we are now taking orders for the first 100 Poppies (which are available to take home in December as a wonderful bird feed) at only £20 including a personalised message and social media acknowledgement
