Just had a lovely first hair cut with Nicola the manager, the young man who washed my hair gave me a lovely head massage and didn't wash any of my makeup off ( where ever I go they always wash some of my makeup of and I leave with a line on my head lol) Nicola took her time cutting my hair exactly how I wanted it and even offered to curl it as I'm going out tonite � and I love it! It's always nerve wracking when you visit a new salon for the first time.



Will the cut be how I imagined?; Will they cut too much off?; Will the colour be right or will I look like a belisha beacon?; Will I end up with a wet neck? Will anyone offer me a drink? (My mouth is REALLY dry)



Relax! When you sit in a chair at Limelight, you really can put your hairdressing worries and woes behind you.



I first went to Limelight when I started having bad reactions to hair colour and I was looking for a salon that offered ammonia and PPD free treatments. My Mum was already a client (and being a former hairdresser - a very fussy one) and she was singing Nicola's praises. So I took the plunge and have been enjoying stress-free cuts and itch-free Davines colours ever since.



Nicola got to know my hair really quickly and knows what works for me and what doesn't. I wear my hair short and over the months I've been going, she has nailed a cut and colour(s) for me that make me feel great. Friends say my hair has never looked better.



My hair is thick and naturally frizzy and kinky, it takes ages to dry and I always have to straighten it. I decided to try a keratin treatment and I have to say it was money well spent. My hair dries quicker, it's smoother, more manageable and doesn't curl up my forehead the second I walk out the door. I wash my hair every day, so I'm not sure it if it will last the suggested 9 weeks but I'm on week 6 and it's still making a difference - I'll definitely be having another treatment.



Nicola's team are lovely and friendly, the salon is modern, clean and tidy, the back wash is super comfy, it's a breeze to park and their service is excellent value for money.



Would I recommend them?... hell yes!

I booked my first appointment at Limelight last Saturday and received great service within a modern and comfortable salon. Grace cut and coloured my hair exactly how I wanted it. I was also pleasantly surprised when offered a glass of wine as I waited. I really cant fault the staff, and will definitely use this hairdressers again.

I absoloutley love my visits to limelight hair salon ! The staff are amazing & actually listen to what I want ! I always come out feeling amazing and the organic products used on my hair are Divine ! I would and do highly recommend this salon !!! Xx
