What an absolutely lovely afternoon tea with my sweetheart! The food was amazing, fresh and satisfying to the end. Staff was friendly and very hospitable. I look forward to future visits as they are quite close to home.

This is as far from your average tea room as you can get. Great service (the manager was alert, friendly and completely capable — as were his staff). We were made to feel completely at home from the moment we entered the beautiful, historic building. The menu was also fabulous — and, on such a warm day, the chilled glass of white wine was extremely welcome.



Highly recommended. A treat for the whole family. I can’t wait to visit again.

We went to the tea room for a Father’s Day afternoon tea and it was amazing! They provided the most delicious vegetarian options and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. There are a few farm animals and a small playground just a short walk away and the surrounding countryside is beautiful for a longer walk if you fancied it. We will definitely be back.

We treated ourselves to Christmas Eve afternoon tea today which was just lovely. The children's afternoon tea was the perfect portion size for our almost 3 year old...her favourite bit was the Rudolph cupcake. My husband and I loved the festive favoured sandwiches along with the other savoury nibbles. The top tiers of sweet treats were yummy! Thank you and Merry Christmas 🎄🎅🏻👍🏻

We came in today to celebrate two very special girls turning 4 and I have to say that our experience was superb. The two gentlemen that were serving were very attentive and made our girls feel so important. I really appreciated how promptly we were served but there was no feeling of being rushed or moved on. A really relaxed, delicious lunch which was everything we’d hoped it would be. Thank you �

Was treated by a friend for brunch and it was lovely... I have been in the area since the end last year and have driven past so many times... Will definitely be back... Great little place and the staff where lovely... Adore the little Tea Cups and Saucers... Wanted to keep mine... ���

Popped in for quick lunch with my hubby. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Cooked and presented Hot and freshly made with great care and attention to detail. This is definitely one of our favourite places to eat. Bravo.

Just went today for the first time with my two boys and we all had a lovely time. The farm and playground was great for them to play around and the tea room had a nice selection of food from local sources. The cafe worker was so sweet, being very accommodating and helpful. Looking forward to going again soon!

Just back from celebrating my daughter's 13th birthday. Everyone had a wonderful evening and the birthday girl couldn't have been happier. The food was great and keiron had gone to a LOT of effort to make it extra special with a personalised birthday menu. Thank you so much.

I booked an afternoon tea for a friends baby shower and it couldn’t have been better. Peter was fabulous from the minute we walked in the door until the moment we left. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious - everyone was full and the tea kept coming. We were even allowed to put out a few decorations and use a couple of tables for our games/presents. Thank you Limes Farm (and especially Peter) for being so brilliant. We will be back as soon as possible!!

Have heard good things about Limes Farm for ages and while out shopping a friend and I decided to stop and have some lunch. Lovely space, good quality good, excellent service. Very glad I have finally tried it and will definitely be back.

Excellent meal to celebrate Mother’s Day - beautiful carve at your table beef with loads of veg, incredible cakes and great service.

A must for lunch or just a cup of tea. Wonderful people and amazing food. Xx

A group of us went to the tea room today for a friend's baby shower. Peter and the team were fantastic and so accommodating, including in relation to my special diet needs (No dairy or nuts). We had our own space and could decorate as well. The food was delicious and tea kept flowing. Thank you very much for making us so welcome, we will be back!

Off and on I drop into.the tearoom for maybe brunch or afternoon tea. Whenever I visit the service is always quick and friendly and the food delicious. Always worth a visit.

Food good, service good. Thought it was a bit pricey. Toilets definitely need checking more often. Ladies toilet dirty, disabled toilet no hand towels. Good for food, fair for facilities.

We visited for my sisters birthday for afternoon tea, and we were disappointed at the quantity and selection of food we had at £15 per head, cost if £45 in total.

During our time there we noticed that for £7 we could have ordered a large bloomer sandwich and soup , which we observed to be very appealing and were regretful that we hadn’t ordered that instead!

We left feeling quite flat as we had so looked forward to this especially as it was a birthday treat.

Felt the way the sandwiches where presented was poor , fillings option was poor , mainly cheese , when we arrived the table was not set properly, quality of cakes and scones where not very nice , also very expensive for what was in offer , would not go again for afternoon tea

Very disappointed especially as there were 10 of us that's alot of money.
