I know I've been quiet in the socials front of late so here's an update for you all...
I've really enjoyed my first week with Team Breakthrough. I've learnt SO much already and my passion has been ignited to learn more and grow as a coach.
Most importantly I've learnt my role as a trainer is not just to "beast" clients (I get asked to do this all the time and yes I will make sure clients are pushed). My job is to analyse how you move, highlight any postural imbalances, and f...igure out WHY and HOW they have be caused. Then create a program to correct these areas and improve your overall movement and well being. With a sound movement pattern in the bag clients training possibilities will be endless!!
All this being said I've got the confidence in my own knowledge to deliver all this as a coach. And when I finally get round to taking on 1:2:1 clients again I am positive that I will be able to offer a well rounded service of exceptional standard.

The next step was to improve my strength. Azlee created a specialised programme to help me gain muscle and get strong for the netball court. She ta...ught me the clean and jerk and the snatch lifts alongside different mobility and agility workouts. She taught me to breakdown each part of the lifts, explained why each part was beneficial and corrected my form along the way. She was supportive, but continued to beast me in the gym. The programme she created for me was clear and through her guidance I now feel confident enough to enter the weights area of the gym alone. I have hit PBs, gained muscle and sweat ALOT!
