Managed to snap off my only key when trying to lock my patio door, so decided in my wisdom to try and replace the lock myself (bad idea - never will try again in the future!).

I spent a couple of hours looking at youtube and then tried to first snap the lock and then drill it out which only made the situation worse, and at that point, I knew i should have gotten a professional to do the job in the first place.

I called up Linacre and within 20 minutes he was at my house, and replaced the mangled lock within 10 minutes (and even managed to get the door working the best it has in years). He also gave me some advise on what may need to be replaced in the future, and how i could prolong the life of my locks.

For £50 (labor + Parts + VAT) to have the job sorted by a professional, I defiantly use them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone! (Also this was on a bank holiday, so was really surprised at the reasonable cost!)

Had a problem with a door lock this morning. I called & Wayne was here a couple of hours later the same day as promised. Stripped, serviced and lubricated the mechanism and it's back in full working order. Absolutely no attempt to sell new parts where they weren't needed - quite the opposite. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and gave tips on how best to look after and maintain the lock. I've kept his card and would definitely call him again if I have any similar problems in the future.
