I used to use the Co-op in Alford for my regular shopping. I was especially attracted to the in-store butchery and bakery, the excellent range of fresh local produce and the hot roast chickens. I am aghast to find that the only thing to survive the latest "store improvement" is the in-store bakery and even that isn't working today. Since I need to get the car out to get to Alford Co-op anyway, I may simply carry on to Louth or Mablethorpe for my shopping now. I am deeply disappointed.
