As a trained and accredited celebrant, I can help you plan a day that is unique, meaningful and memorable.

I trained as a humanist celebrant with the British Humanist Association in 2001, since when, I have enjoyed helping make some of the most significant days of our lives, personal, meaningful and special. I help couples getting married to create a wedding ceremony that is completely unique and personal to them, reflecting them as a couple. There are no set formats or words and couples can be as creative, offbeat or traditional as they choose. Humanist weddings can be held in the setting of choice, whether a nice hotel, the beach you played on as a child or mum and dad's back garden - all are absolutely fine. The same applies to renewals of vows, baby namings and all the other celebrations of life and also death. Working with families, I prepare and conduct the funeral service of their loved one, my aim always to lead a funeral that is respectful, meaningful, reflective of the life remembered and helpful in that it leaves the mourners feeling somehow better for having been there. I am also happy to meet with folk who want to make plans for their own funerals.
