It is with sadness that I report that our Organ Secrertary Dorothy Robinson passed away on January 25th. There is to be a service of thanksgiving to be held on 26th February at 3 pm at St Thomas' Parish Church. Dorothy will be greatly missed and we pass on ou sincere condolances to her family and friends.

Lincolnshire Steam & Vintage Rally wishes all our exhibiters, traders and helpers a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Planning for the 2019 rally has started. The publicity stuff is done and on its way to the printers. We are having a few weeks off so please note that requests to enter will be answered after Christmas and pre-booking camping will commence on 1st April 2019. Hopefully it is all systems go in the new year.

Thank you to everyone for a fantastic weekend. The organisers, exhibitors, stall holders, fairground, campers and of course to the public for spending the day (or two!) looking around our fantastic show. We hope everyone has enjoyed their time at the show this year and look forward to doing it all again next year. Photos will follow in the next few days. Until then this is us signing off! 👋🏻

What a beautiful morning we’ve woken up to here at the showground. The site will fill up even more so at 12:00 when the camping gate opens.

Good morning from a slightly dampened showground. Rain meant to ease by lunch. Here’s hoping!

First it was too much sun...then the heavens opened...on day 1 of set up its been the wind that has proved most prominent!! My personal vital mistake was not pegging our awning down before leaving it for a split second...needless to say I watched in horror as the wind elevated it higher and higher right over the top of my caravan!! Should have took a picture! Hope that put a smile on your face if you've just sat down after making sure everything is just about ready to go! T...he showground is starting to take shape now and the familiar site we all love returning. Please remember exhibitors and traders - 12noon the gates open and this year it will be gate 3. Same gate...different number! Have a safe journey and see you all soon!

⭐️OFFICAL BBQ ANNOUNCEMENT⭐️ Thank you to everyone for your patience. After speaking with showground officials this morning. All BBQs ARE permitted onsite but BBQs must NOT be in direct contact with the grass. So please use stands.

With 10 days to go now could we just make a point about the BBQ situation. With the hot weather being as it has been many rallies throughout the season so far have completely banned all BBQs. At this present moment, we have not banned BBQs. However, we would advise all campers on site, not to use any coal or wood burning BBQs. Gas BBQs are still permitted, however should we receive any information from the Showground to contradict the above we shall relay this back to you. Many apologies for any inconvenience caused.
