after having come across this place on a visit this week,,, i will make a point of popping in there whenever i am in heswall, something for everyone,,,a great 'feel at home ' place to be,, my grandson loved it there, as there is a good child friendly feel,, with play table and seats and some construction toys, just the job for jack,,,, he didnt want to leave and as we wanted to sit outside and have coffee and cake,,,the staff were great and allowed us to take some toys out to our table for him to play with,,,,,,,there seem to be lots of good things coming up there.. and things going on too ~

Went to spend some book tokens with my 5 year old. Lovely shop with plenty to choose from. We were there for story time and even though my little boy was the only one there, they carried on just for him. I've shopped there a lot over the years for my teaching and the older kids. Fantastic service. �

We really love this little, independent book shop and have visited Linghams a lot recently looking for gifts for children. We have always found something really lovely and a bit different. The service is always great and we always get a warm welcome. We will return very soon for more goodies!

Very enjoyable evening spent in the company of Chris Boardman courtesy of Linghams. Well organised event with complimentary wine, OJ, apple juice & nibbles. Relaxed, informal interview style with plenty of laughs and lots of insights into Chris' life and experiences. Love Linghams anyway, nothing is ever too much trouble and the staff are friendly & personable. They stock some great books too! Cheers Linghams.

The best independent book shop around. Lovely atmosphere, helpful, friendly staff. Well worth a visit!

Super service from the young girl on Young Adult section. My kids love coming here to browse and choose books. We could do with one in West Kirby.

Story time was wonderful...daily at 11am during holidays. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

My favourite book and coffee shop. No problem finding somewhere to park either.

Love the feeling I get every time I walk in, the staff are friendly and helpful and you cant beat sitting enjoying a cappuccino surrounded by great literature.

If you want an independent, cosy bookshop where you can freely browse & the staff are very knowledgeable this is the best place! There's also the fab Toast cafe on site �

Fantastic bookshop. Always very friendly staff, who are always happy to help. Very relaxed atmosphere. I just introduced my best friend to Linghams today and he was made up; he got himself the latest Damon Hill book with Damon's autograph in it. Highly recommend this bookshop.
