Wonderful service amazing Eggs Benefitc,fluffy pancakes with the best tasting bacon EVER lovely setting on a cobbled courtyard surrounded by pretty shops

We had a family party for 16 persons (children & adults) in the private upper room. The room and the table were beautifully set in subdued colour scheme in a spring-romantic way. The freshly picked meadow flowers placed on the table added to the charm of the place.

The food was served swiftly and it was really nice. We had a variety of dishes and deserts and both the children and the adults enjoyed their menu choices.

The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient- all went smoothly and as planned and expected.

Overall a very nice experience. Highly recommended.

Thanks for a brilliant chocolate making party today! Both the birthday girls and their friends really enjoyed it. Our host was great and made it lots of fun and encouraged the girls to get as messy as they could which they all loved! Food afterwards was great too and it's a lovely setting. Thoroughly recommended!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the staff at The Lion and Lamb Cafe. Whilst my 2 year old son was having a mini melt down, they very kindly put my lunch into a takeaway box and I was able to enjoy it when I got home instead. It's was so tasty too!! My partner and I will definitely be back - perhaps on own!! X

Just to say a big thanks. My daughter had a great chocolate birthday party at the Lion and Lamb cafe this week. Magdalena made all the arrangements very easy and the party food went down very well. Holly did a superb job guiding all the children making and decorating all the wonderful chocolates then highlight was being able to really get into the chocolate literally! Perfect venue and party. Would highly recommend.

Had the most fabulous dinner there Saturday - food and service both excellent. We used the byo option for a very reasonable corkage fee. I really don't know why it's not busier on a weekend evening - so much better than the chain restaurants.

Gorgeous lunch here. Home made soup and salmon with pak choi and green salad....!! Definitely recommend it here..the service was wonderful and friendly too!.

Fabulous hidden gem in Farnham. My fiancé and I had the Valentines set menu which was lovely very reasonably priced and included a glass rose petal infused champagne which was delicious. The wine list includes some excellent wines. The New Zealand Pinot Noir went very well with the steak and the duck. Will definitely be back.

Lovely food but portions alittle small for price

Ordered some olives with feta cheese asked for some bread 3 times only got when finished. Not good service. I also think it a bit pricey but that's me.

It took time to be seate3d and a lot of time before order was taken and longer wait. Service not very good. Very slow.

We were very disappointed with the attitude of the owner(?)/male older waiter this weekend. My husband, myself and my sister in law and my 3 yr old went inside to ask for a table. They were busy but there were tables both inside and outside available! The man told us "you are too many!!" We have no tables!

No apology. No "sorry it might be a little wait until we clear table" . No"would you like to sit outside, I'll bring a menu".

Just a stern NO.

We have before felt this man don't like children in his cafe. We have been a few times and have enjoyed the food and service by other waiting staff.

But this man is rude. Shame on him!!!

Reasonable chicken salad but very poor beetroot, cured salmon and cucumber salad. The cucumber was smothered in something that may have been a cream mayonnaise dressing with fresh dill added. Lost the taste of cucumber and wasn't enjoyable. When asked if had good lunch explained that a salad may have inferred some type of leaf as well being the base but the owner just said OK. Not good value for the cost, try elsewhere.
