We've been coming to this superb location for years, don't know how they do it, bit it just keeps getting better evetytime, the staff are brilliant and very professional, Avril and Adam and staff are second to none. Well done for another superb evening on our daughter's 30th birthday party, thank you all.

The Lion is a family friendly pub, serving traditional food of ample proportion. Adam & Avril will make you feel welcome. Can certainly recommend a visit.

Staying nearby so thought we would have evening meal here. Very glad we did very warm welcome and dog could go in the back room with us. Food excellent husband especially enjoyed sausages in Yorkshire pudding with mash.

Came for lunch. Patè for starters followed by a lunch version of sausage and mash. All food was lovely. Seriously full belly! Great friendly service. Local ales. Good prices! £8 for my sausage and mash and near £5 for the Patè. Also our 11 month old boy was warm heartedly welcomed!
